![]() | Just got back from consult - surgery date scheduled
Well I just had my consultation with Dr. Mckay McKinnon here in Chicago (sent to him by Doctors Say Yes). I really liked him - he was very nice guy and we talked for awhile. I was planning on going with silicone, purely to have a more natural look and feel, but now think I am going with the salines. After he examined me and we were discussing the options he said that with the amount of breast tissue I have and the fact that we will go under the muscle, he told me that it will look just as natural for me if I have saline as it would if I have silicone. I also have a size difference that will be more easily adjusted to even them out with the saline. So, in the end, I decided to go with the saline. I scheduled my surgery for April 30th and cannot wait! |

Thanks everyone! I am so excited. Luckily I have my vacation coming up in another 10 days which will help me get through the time a lot quicker. I have a question for everyone though - I am going to order a couple sports bras from a good site I found online - particularly the Enell which looks fantastic - totally perfect for post-breast augmentation. My only problem is how do you know which size to order without knowing what your measurements will be post-breast augmentation? I don't want to wait till after the surgery to order, as I will be having surgery on a Wednesday and going back to work on Monday and will need to have it by then. Not to mention, I'll need it to wear just for after the surgery. Any ideas? What did all of you do? |

Josie: Doctors Say Yes is a financing company that guarantees you financing. They first try to get you to put down almost 1/2 of the surgery cost, but will settle for $999 down and finance the rest (interest rate depends on your credit). You do have to go to a doctor in their network, but if you do not like the one they send you to, they'll send you to another until you find one you like. You don't have to start making payments until 30 days after your surgery which is really nice. The doctor they sent me to in Chicago is a top-notch plastic surgeon - he was on Oprah 4 years ago for a surgery he did in England, I believe. He also travels to 3rd world countries and helps repair kids with deformities. When I met with him he was great too - very nice, great "bedside" manner - up front about his opinions and patient with all my questions. I am totally comfortable having him perform my surgery. If you want any more info, feel free to send me a private message or just post here in this thread.

Thanks everyone! I am SO excited that I'll have my new boobies in time for summer - and they should hopefully be starting to drop a little or at least starting to look a little better than they will at first post-surgically. I now find myself looking at boobs all the time wondering what mine will look like, much like an expectant parent Ya know, I showed my doc the before and after pics I chose that had people close to my body type and chest size so he could see what I was hoping to achieve. He asked me if I couldn't have my "ideal" would I rather he err on the side of a little smaller or a little larger. Before finding these boards, I probably would've said a little smaller. But I remembered how everyone gets the boobie greed and told him "larger" )Can't wait to buy some new shirts to show off my new boobies this summer! |

![]() | Hey Kelly
How big are you going? I'm 5'2" and 105 lbs. and would like to be a full C. At first I was also thinking smaller but I'm sure I will get boobie greed as well. Ok, I'm totally jealous! My hubbie said he is expecting me to come home March 28 with my surgery date booked ![]() Take care, Josie |

I am 5'6" and 155 pounds - I currently wear a C cup in the cheap Target bra I wear, but it is padded and my smaller breast will fall right out of the cup if I lay on my other side. My PS says I'm more likely a B cup. I want to be a full D. He is not going so much on cup size though, but rather the pictures that I brought him of what I want to look like. Ha - you probably will come back with your date booked ![]() Good luck at your consult. I'll be in England on my vacation when you go to your consult, but post and let me know how it goes and what you decide. I'll be back at the end of the month and will be checking in then (and by then it will only be 1 month countdown for me)! |

I just found their website, and the only zip up sports bra I see is the Champion Double Dry Zip Tech Sports Bra - it has the racer back, molded cups, adjustable sides, mesh pannels and padded straps with the lock down zipper in front. Is this the one those of you have gotten? If not, could you let me know which style you had?
