I didnt tell my mom until after too........well I told her I was thinking about doing it, she flipped said she didnt want to know, so I didnt tell her. Then 2 weeks after my breast augmentation, she said did you decide not to have the surgery? I said how do you know I didnt have it already? She was like YOU DID??? It honestly was so much better because if she knew, she wouldve freaked and been crazy nervous, so I totally respect and understand your decision not to have told her, but it sounds like you might have choice but to.

The 7 year old will be in school all day until 3pm (although she would be my biggest helper) but am I even going to be able to make them lunch or pour them Orange juice?
I could not have. No way. You will likely be too sore/weak to even open the refrigerator door, and on pain killers that will make you pretty much sleep most of the day. DH (or somebody) really needs to be there, not just for the kids but for you as well, IMO.

i think you'll be fine but it is good that you'll only have the one day that soon after surgery by yourself, how long will your mil be in town to help? you'll do fine, just don't over do it. my kids were 3.5 years and 18 months when i had my surgery and it was hard but i made out okay. good luck!

I feel GREAT!! I came home yesterday after surgery kinda groggy from the anesthesia. Tried to nap but with all the IV's the pumped into me I was going to the bathroom every 10 minutes. I have VERY low pain/discomfort. I can't believe how good I feel!
I have my step mother in law here today just to be safe. I really don't need her but it's nice to have someone to play with the kids.

I haven't even needed any vicodin!!

Wow Heather, no Vicodin!!?? You are truely amazing!! I didn't need to take it until the evening of my surgery but I had to keep taking it every 4 hours to make sure the pain was manageable.

I have a high tollerance for pain..I gave birth to my 4 kids with no pain meds...but I did need them for several days after my breast augmentation. Maybe he shot you up with some extra numbing stuff...LOL.

I have no idea why I don't feel much pain. I mean it they ARE sore and my ribcage feels bruised but it's really not that bad. and they gave me NO pain meds after surgery. lol. and I'm right there with you on the childbirth with no pain meds, well the second two anyways!
Makes me feel like I should go get more stuff done. lol.

Are you looking forward to yours?? I think 450 is a good size for you. Now that I see what the 397 did for me and your taller than I am.

Yes, I am really looking forward to getting them. A part of me is still nervous..I know they will look stuck on at first..my 304's did, they looked stuck on until they dropped and the muscles let go.

I keep telling people they will be amazed at how different the feel and look once they are in. I was so afraid I would be too big with 304 but once they were in I was like "where are they?".
