I am a little over 6 weeks post op, and I was wanting to know if i will still drop more. My breast still have a oval look to me.. My exsisting breast tissue is still noticable. Will the implant still fall some more to round out the breast?? It looks like the breast implant is sticking to far out on the sides, because of the tissue under it. Am I making any sense??? Anyways did anyone seem to notice a big change from six weeks til 12 weeks??

From what I've read it can take 4-6 months to fully drop and fluff with unders.

I'm only 10 weeks post-op and I can see a small difference. They say it takes about 1 year for the breast to settle. I'll say yes, you have a lot of dropping to do, still. val

You should definitely drop more, especially if you have unders. Some women just take longer to drop than others, although I don't know of anyone that was completely dropped at 6 weeks. Everything you describe sounds pretty normal for the stage of recovery you're in. You should take weekly pics of your breasts. By doing so, you can see the changes that take place. It's really hard to tell whether or not you're dropping b/c the changes are very gradual, and when you're looking at your breasts 50 times a day (like most of us did right after our breast augmentation's), you won't see much of a difference. The pictures will help a ton. ![]() Do you have a photo site? |

The average is around 3 to 4 months for unders with continual minor changes through the first year. I know some who saw more change at 6 months or 8 months....but I've never seen anyone who truly dropped at 6 wks...often times women think they have but then month 3 or 4 comes and then they are like "ohh so that's what it's about"

I agree with Nikki on a website and pictures. I take pics of mine every couple of days and looking back I can see the changes, but just looking at them everyday I wouldn't be able to tell what's going on.
