Average cost of MRI

Does anyone know the average cost of the MRI. I understand with silicone I will need to have one every few years. Also, is there a way to have it ordered so that the insurance would pay for it? Just curious. Thanks!

I Googled 'Average cost of an MRI' and this was the first one that came up on Blue Cross Blue Shields site:

The national average cost of an MRI is nearly $2,000

I don't know of any way to have it ordered so that insurance pays for it. You'd have to talk to your family doctor or Gyno. I do know a gal that has silicone and get's MRI paid by insurance. She's had breast problems in the past so even before she got implants she was getting MRI's instead of Mammogram's ordered by her gyno.
