Hi gals,

These last few days have been kind of crazy for me....going back and forth between being excited and nervous. My stomach has been uneasy and I have been getting a lot of headaches...mostly from nerves I guess and from not being able to take any meds (ibuprofen) for the aches.

Like I said, I'm perhaps a little more nervous but, I am excited too. In some ways I would like to talk about it more with some of my friends, but I don't for the most part because I know how judgmental people can be. My husband has advised me to not tell very many people because they will end up gossipping about it...and before you know it the whole town knows...Ha!...not so funny actually. But this is serious surgery, and I am having trouble keeping it all locked up. My family knows...my sisters (2 of 3) are very supportive, which is great! But they live far away, so it's not like we talk everyday.

So you know it is hard to get overly excited, when for the most part i have to keep it to myself, if that makes any sense?!

I admit, in many ways it just does not seem real at all to me yet.
I'm sure that will change when I go through the recovery!!

I am trying to stay away from the 'complications' page as of late...as I don't really want to be reminded about what could go wrong this close to surgery. I have to just hope for the best and hope and trust that my PS is skillfull. It is an odd thing to do...to put so much trust in someone I do not really know that well...anyway....

So, do you have any last words of advice....?

I will be travelling for my surgery...and will be staying in a hotel for about 3 days. And I am getting multiple surgeries. Trying to think of any last minute things to bring that might aid me in my recovery.

My last words of advice to you are to relax and try to laugh a lot.

Honest! It has worked for me! Take it easy and have a restful nights sleep the night before, think pleasent thoughts before being knocked out and FOLLOW the DR'S ORDERS! You will do so great and it will be over before you know it and you will wonder what you ever worried about!

After it's all done the REAL fun begins in waiting for the big D & F to happen!

Oh, and one last thing! POST YOUR STORY so we can all read it!!!!

Go ahead and get excited girl! Although you may have had to keep this from some of your loved ones, you've got a whole slew of ladies here that are very excited for you!!! Only 4 days!!!! That's fantastic!!! My BA is in the morning and it's killing me...I want to go NOW! So tonight I'm just going to try to stay busy and prepare my house for recovery! Just follow your PS's advice and do something fun the night before to help you relax! Good luck and I look forward to hearing about your results!

I see you're getting a TT too, and I think THAT will be the toughest. The BA for me was the easiest, it was just tight and uncomfortable but not painful. All that you have to deal with in terms of the TT will take the most of your energy, so take it easy in the hotel and let people take care of you! Make sure you have some protein-rich snacks handy for when you pop those meds.

But most of all, feel good about what you're doing for yourself. You deserve it, and despite the long road ahead for the TT, it'll all be worth it!

I will try to relax until then!!
Tomorrow I will be riding Rollercoasters with my son at 6-Flags!! And maybe after that I can relax!! LOL!

Na, It will be a fun thing that my son and I can share in before I get all cooped up for a couple of weeks.... my husband can't do the scary rides with my son...he gets sick very easily with the motion.

So how are you doing? I should go read your blog to see your progress!

Good luck!!! You'll do wonderful, things will go perfectly and you'll wake up with fantastic new breasts. I am quite envious that your date has already come- post your story.
