Not able to shave under my arms before surgery - How many of you had to do this?
I can't shave for another 8 days and it's driving me crazy. I feel gross. I can shave the morning of surgery with a new blade. I understand it's to prevent infection, but what type?

i feel your concern my surgery was on aug 18 and coudln't shave until now so this is gross..and the worst is that when i don't shave , i sweat a lot and i can't use nothing .. so this is hard ..so the only thing i do is wash them very often and put oitment on it.

I know it is so uncomfortable but well worth it!! I think your PS want to avoid any chance of you cutting yourself and exposing your body to harmful bacteria that could possible grow into an infection. You be okay it's only a couple of days.

Thanks ladies. What a difference from my first experience.. now I know I am definitely dealing with a professional board certified doc. I am praying things will work out!!!

My PS said the same thing but gave me a laser treatment 14 days before. Didn't calm all hairs but did a pretty good job.....
