Question Where you happy with your weight before surgery?

I was doing so well working out, eating right and realy staying motivated..until I hit a few bumps in the road..life happened and I fell off major track.. now I have one week left until my repair and I feel like my ps is going to be thinking that I am too thick for surgery.. I know this sounds silly but, I keep thinking these docs see such thin and in shape women all the time.. I guess it's just my nerves getting the best of me but I also am very upset with myself that I put on this weight this past year..I really should be 30 pounds thinner. I must say that dealing with this symmastia all of these years has caused me great self image issues and depression so it's been really hard for me. I am not trying to have a pity party for myself. I was just wondering if any of you were alittle "thicker" than you wanted to be right before your surgery. I do know that once I get these suckers out of me and my repair is done, I will be able to focus on losing weight and feeling better with myself.

Aaaaww ToriaRae I can really relate to that! Im not petite by any means and must be one of the heaviest ladies on here for my height, despite losing 30lb in the last year! Im determined to lose the last 11lbs before my surgery rolls around in December as I want to achieve maximum results! I have just joined the gym doing cardio/weights in the hope that, that will shock my body into losing the last 11lb but I havent lost a thing in the 3 weeks I have been going. Im so frustrated and disappointed but I do think I have lost inches instead. Anyway, try not to stress about it especially since surgery is so close. Im sure you will be fine and you can focus on losing weight after you have recovered ((((HUGS))))

I know... wouldn't it be great if everything worked out when we had the BA... I was OK with my size before the BA... then got BA bloat ( it's temporary)& started working out at 5 weeks ish then fell & sprained my feet ( yep BOTH LOL)so had to quit.... I am ok with weight.. but with all of these TEENY girlies on here... I am wanting to drop a few... Either way the BA was amazing & don't worry about the rest.. just enjoy boobieville! LOL

I'm hoping to lose about 8 to 10 lbs. before cuz I'm not happy with the weight I've gain this summer. I also read that if you lose weight after the BA your boobs tend to look a little saggy
I sure don't want that to happen, so I NEED to lose it before surgery!!

I go to the gym regularly, cuz my weights always gone up and down my whole life, and im short, so thats why its noticable, so i have to work extra hard. Then the week before my surgery, my nerves kicked in, my stress leval was up becasue i felt guilty spending money for something so dumb. And iv had a slow recovery, so im not alllowed to do any cardio or even walking incline. So basically ive gained 10 pounds. BUT i know as soon as i get the ok from my DR, im gnna just work even harder to get it off, then i will have the boobs, and the body. Its kinda just like a re-start, like its giving me more motivation to work out harder. My DR says in about another week or so... IM EXCITED!!

I'm heavier than i like by about 10-15 pounds.
But it FEELS like more! Because i'm not in great shape. I've had some health issues over the last year, but now that i've had the BA, i'm actually a bit more motivated to work out. And the kids going back to school today is going to help a load too....

I am ok with my weight, but my p/s says if I can gain some weight it might help with breast tissue etc, so I can go as big as I would like. So I am trying to up my weight. But just like gaining weight it takes time I have 2 months to pound some food

I've never been happy with my weight. My BA put a hold on my exercising, but luckily I only gained a couple pounds. I'm working on losing another 30 lbs. I actually asked the nurse over the phone before my consult if you had to be a certain weight to get a BA, and she said not usually. I think you'll do great and my prayers are with you!

I am hoping to feel this way as well (still not yet released to work out). Prior to the BA I was about 10 lbs heavier than I would like but I always resisted working out too much as I have a tendancy to put on lots of muscle and subsequently look to masculine for my tastes. Now that I am boobified I look forward to working out again and hoping to look more like Michele Rodriguez or Jillian from the Biggest Loser. Muscle AND boobs is a very different thing than muscle and NO boobs...
