OK so I have the choice to switch from unders to overs should I?

I had double bubble since I had my surgery in May. I think it may be because of under the muscle. The surgeon is offering to redo my "inframammory creases". I asked about just doing them over the muscle. He said this would be a more involved surgery and would cause more pain. I could not imagine it causing more pain than the first (under the muscle). He said the likelihood of CC is way higher and they look more unnatural (whihc I kind of like). Im excited because I get to change my implant size and go higher!!

Anyone switch from unders to overs because of double bubble or any other reason?
How did it come out? Were you glad?

My PS switched me from unders to overs while I was gettin my 2nd redo due to bottoming out.
I love my overs and HPs alot more than I did my Mod unders.

Painwise I am 4 weeks PO and still slightly tender. I had alot more pain in the first few days and alot more swelling.

thanks for responding! He said he was gonna redo my crease. I am afraid the same thing will happen. He said if I get overs it can happen again. I dont know what to do, I wanna cry

if he recommends u get overs i would do it! i have seen some really nice over pics on here! dont worry and i would do it so u dont have anymre bottoming out! is this the ps that u went to for ur ba? or a new one? bc for some reason i thought i read a post that u were really angry w him and didn't want him to do ur redo? so sorry if that is incorrect.

it's the same one. he offered to redo for free since he did the original. I will have to pay 2g for hospital and anesthesiologist. I am very angry but at this point just wanna get fixed.

He recommended we didnt do over that we just fix the creases but Im scared it will happen again! I want overs but im afraid of cc.

I think I read somewhere that its only 2% higher with overs for cc so not too much of a difference. Also if your afraid of double bubble I would go w/overs to help with that

I don't think overs makes any difference in bottoming out. Redoing the crease will raise the implant and should fix your double bubble.

yeah it just seems you can see where my original crease was because of my original muscle and the implant below it. I figured redoing it over would get rid of that "muscle strand" that seperates the two, you know what I mean? Maybe I should just stick to unders though. I just wanna make the right choice since it is costing me another $2,000!

Maybe you should go get a second opinion. you still have the choice to go with your original PS because he if free. But getting another PS to have a look and see what he recommends might help you make up your mind.
