How long did it take to get in for a consult?

These Docs are all in or around Orlando:

Dr. Karlin- as soon as you want you don't get to meet with him though unless you pay $100.

Dr. Fiala- 1 week, the doctor spent about 2 mins with me and then ran out of the room

Dr. Hartog (my doctor)- they squeezed me in next day and he spent as much time with me as I wanted. I was able to book my surgery w/in 6 weeks. I could have booked a little sooner if I had wanted to.

Two weeks to book my consult

I could have scheduled my surgery within weeks but I decided on a date for two months from my first consultation.

I went to 3 consults in San Francisco, California area:

1st dr. Rajagopal took 2 days to get in for consult. She was very nice & very helpful.
2nd dr. Henry took 2 days to get in for consult. She was very brief & extremely expensive.
3rd dr. Hvistendahl I was a walkin appt. As I left the 2nd office there happened to be another plastic surgeon office in the same building. I just went in to compare prices & they happened to have a short consult opening right then. I really like the staff & dr & they were almost 1/2 the price as the office I had just left.

I chose the last plastic surgeon I saw. I was able to book surgery for 12 days after my consult. Of course I went home & thought about it researched the plastic surgeon & called to pay & book surgery. They were able to fit me in on the day that I needed.

I was lucky and was shadowing the doctor I wanted to perform my surgery. I asked him if I could set up a consult on the last day of my shadowing and before he left the office he did a consult with me. Surgery is scheduled for a little over a month later because I have to wait until after finals.

Mine was a month alltogether, 1st appt 10-30, BA on 12-1, not too bad, although this last week seems impossible!!

It took me about a month and a half. I was scheduled to get in at about four weeks. Then the doctor canceled b/c he had to go out of town and I had to wait fourteen more days. I think we all get anxious to get ba, and it is a real bummer to have to wait. But to find out near the date that you're about to go in that you have to wait 2 weeks longer is the real killer. Normally doctors are a little better than that. Most patients don't have to be so patient...

Though I haven't had mine yet...I scheduled a consult with Dr. Vitenas two weeks out (Nov. 19.) They told me a surgery date over Spring Break would be no problem.

Called Dr. Ciaravino for a consult on Nov. 20 and the first one available was about a month away...Dec. 30th! She asked when I scheduled it when I wanted to have the surgery and I said Spring Break, though she didn't make any indication if that would be feasible or not.

took about 3 weeks for my consult and booked my surgery for a month later but ending up having to push it back 5 months- and now it's tomorrow morning...

Consultation within 1-2 days of me calling. Consulted, discussed, approved financing and booked the appt all in one whirl of a visit. That was Nov 5th.

Pre op appt was Dec. 5th

Surgery date Dec. 11th. (tomorrow!!)

Consultation was booked 1 1/2 weeks after calling .. date of 11/10 .. went to 2nd consult 6 days later 11/16 and booked surgery date for 12/29

I probably could have booked sooner as well but I wanted to wait so I could use my 2 weeks paid time off (courtesy of the company

) and not have to use my actual vacation time.

Not sure how long it takes to get in...but called and made mine for March...seems far way...but when she start telling me about watching the videos and booking surgery and paying 1/2 plastic surgeon fees if I book on the consult date...I was kinda glad I have still time to save some change and I am still kinda chicken

I was able to get in within a week. I told them I was hoping to get surgery during my Christmas break and I think they worked their best to fit me in. I am scheduled for surgery in 2 days
