What is your preference at consult, preop and postop

I wasnt really bothered by staff meber being in the room...by staff do you mean the nnurse? No i didn;t mind

To all three, I'd say it doesn't bother me if someone is present or not.

If the plastic surgeon made me feel uncomfortable, then he wouldn't be my plastic surgeon for very long.

I am not too shy, so another person won't bother me either.

I had my SO and a medical assistant(s) in the room along with the plastic surgeon on all visits. I felt the med assistant(s) was not needed because they did not do anything but stare at me. I felt very uncomfortable. On many follow-up visits I had 5 people in the room at a time while I was totally nude, and the rooms are so small. Talk about being uncomfortable. Now that I am cleared from anymore followups, I won't go back because I hated all the unnecessary attention and judgmental looks.

My bf was in the room for the final pre-op but just one on one with the surgeon in the past. My surgeon is female, and extremely comfortable to be around.

2. What about pre-surgery when your surgeon is marking you and prepping you for surgery?
N/A- surgery is monday!

3. Do you prefer a staff member present at your Post Op appointments?
N/A

Sorry I can't help much. My surgeon has a patient care coordinator as well, who was the one to take my pictures. She was fantastic as well!

My bf was with me for one of my pre op apts. I went alone to another where it was just the plastic surgeon and me.
Marking right before surgery just plastic surgeon and me. And post ops a few were just nurses one was just him and one was him and nurse.
Being alone with him I didn't find uncomfortable at all. Completely professional
