Any ideas on what I should pack for hotel?
I'm getting a little obsessed in regards to a packing list for my trip to have my BA & Lipo surgery as I want to make sure that I don't forget a single thing.
My husband & I live 6 hours from where I will be having my BA & Lipo surgery (we live in an isolated community of 15,000 people and we have to take 2 ferry's plus a lot of driving in between just to get there) so my DH and I will be staying in a hotel for 4 days including the night before my surgery. Any advice on what I should pack? What things I should definitely not go without. I'm having BA along with Lipo on hips/thighs & abdomen so I figure I'm going to be really uncomfortable throughout my stay. Thanx a bunch for any & all help.

I wouldn't stress out too much about packing. I only took two sets of jammy pants and two button up shirts. And of course panties, if you wear them, and toothbrush, toothpaste, makeup, hair ties, socks. You could also take a book or two to read and maybe a handheld game. I really wouldn't stress out. I was in a hotel too for the first night, but it was an aftercare center located in a hotel. So...if your meals are not provided, you will just have to get hubbie to go out and get you things. You won't be stuffing yourself, so simple things such as soup, pasta, sorbet, etc. Good luck!!!

Don't forget your meds!! lol I guess the important things other than that would be loose fitting clothing that wouldn't require you to lift your arms, snack foods to take with your meds, extra pillows as you will want to prop yourself up after surgery and even for the ride home, and ziplock bags to put ice in for the new girls. Hope this helps, my prayers are with you. ~Shelly~
