I need cleavage! Any ideas?

Sorry for the long post, but if anyone has any ideas it's worth it! I am so jealous of all of you with your big round boobies, with your cleavage and upper pole fullness!

I had a BL/breast augmentation in 2007 with 510cc mod saline unders. They were way too big and still never had cleavage, and after they dropped I had no upper pole fullness either. Had a redo Feb 2008 with a re-lift and 390cc mod saline unders. I am much happier with the size. They look smaller from the front (I think because they are out to the sides), but they are DD's. I am unhappy with the shape, the lack of cleavage and upper pole fullness. I know my natural breasts grew outwards too, but does that mean I will never have what I am looking for? I want them rounder with a full upper pole and decent cleavage. I just talked to my PS about a revision, wondering if he could tack my muscles on the outside (they fall into my armpits when I lie down). He doesn't think this is the problem and wants to relift (again!) and swap my 390's for 450's. How can this help when I had 510's before and still no cleavage? And how is it that I would need a 3rd lift in less than 2 years? Did he not lift enough to begin with? Or is it really my body? He also suggested going over the muscle to get them closer. I don't know that I am comfortable with that either. Not to mention that he wants to charge $3200 for the redo ($4300 if I want silicone). I have already paid over $6000 between the 2 first surgeries. (Tons more spent if you want to include the tummy tuck, which he did a fabulous job on) If it helps I am 5'5" with a 31.5" ribcage. My pre-breast augmentation breasts were deflated C's. I have pics of pre, post 1st breast augmentation and current. I had this done so I didn't need to wear a bra, but now I have to wear a push-up all the time! Again, sorry so long!! Thanks for your help!

When it comes down to it, you can't create cleavage if you don't have it to begin with. I'm betting your breasts pre breast augmentation were farther apart, right? Your body will only allow a certain size to fit in your boobs that are already there. So, if you have boobs far apart pre breast augmentation, you will post breast augmentation as well, sad to say.

Your doctor CAN dissect the pockets in between your boobs, but if he over-dissects it, it can lead to symmastia, and you DON'T want that. In my opinion, it's not worth the risk.

Hi KareBear! I looked at your pics and it looks to me like your boobs are set far apart. Mine are that way too and that is the way they ended up after my breast augmentation/bl as well. What you have before is what you will have after. Surgeons aren't God.. They can only do so much. I think the 390ccs look great on you! When you do want good cleavage for certain things just get a good push up bra. That is what I do. My breasts are naturally set far apart and have always been that way. I have to use the old push up bra trick to pull off great cleavage. I think you look good. Keep your chin up and hang in there!

Hi Karebear!
I'm no doctor but I really don't think you need another lift. You look great. I wouldn't touch them.

Hey Karebear, your boobs look naturally further apart, and from what I know about boobs is unless you're getting one of those anchor lifts, that you're pretty much going to get what you naturally have, only bigger. I think for you to get more cleavage/upper pole that you'd have to bite the bullet and go up in size and definitely to a wide in diameter implant (opposite from HP, don't know what they're called)

I think that you should consult with a different PS. Maybe this PS does more TT's than breast augmentation's?

Hi Karebear, sorry I havent said welcome yet!
"Hi and welcome to JBI!"
I am sorry that you havenīt achieved the look,
you are dreaming or wishing for.
I also agree with a few of the posts here...
ie. what Bgirlie has suggested - I agree.... You do have a little sagging (it happens) adding and detracting volume will only give the smaller or larger look that you naturally have! Your breasts are wide, which does mean to get a Wow effect they need a good amount of implant and that IMO needs to be a fairly wide implant....
Its so difficult and its similar to playing the Lotto sometimes, the chances of winning can be slim...
If you are not able to accept your appearance then save, save, save and be sure to consult a couple of PSīs, they may all have different opinions....
On the happier side - you have found the best forum, where you will never be alone and we will help as much as we can! take care...

I agree here aswell -
even if only for another opinion!
