HI Girls,
I am 1.5 weeks out now. I was wondering how soon you went and got professionally fitted for a bra? I have never done that before -- any advice?

Do I just tell them? i assume they see it a lot?

I am in Denver, Colorado -- I was thinking just Victoria Secret or SOL?

Any advice would be appreciated. ;-)

little update:
what a difference a few days makes.
I feel fantastic. My boobs hardly hurt at all. The sensitivity has dramaticly went away, and they both have dropped a little more. They look great!!! I cant wait to take 4 weeks pics and post.
i am soooo happy!!!
for those of you who are at 3 weeks and feel like i did, give it another week. I hope you get as lucky as I did.
So I hope from here on out it just gets better and better.( they are still firm) So I am going to wait tapping my fingers for them to get soft and squishy.

Congrats! Glad to hear you are doing well. I had my BA on 29.10.09....so our "girls" are only a day apart.
Today is day 3 for me, and I am starting to wean off the pain meds (was taking 2 Tylenol with codeine every 4 hours....now I am down to 1 pill every 6 hours or so) and my chest doesn't feel as heavy and tight.

Glad to hear your feeling better..its so hard when you feel a pain or twinge, not knowing whats going on is scary..

I'm going to wait another week, and then go and get fitted for a bra, I've bought some but there not a good fit, so I'll go and get measured properly, I have a boutique here that does professional measurements..I cant wait to hear what they say..lol.

As for me I'm going very well, and at last my right has dropped and softened as well..I've been feeling well and am going to a wedding next saturday, and havent a thing to wear...will be going shopping tomorrow hopefully I'll find something..

A bit congrats to all the October girls...we've made it and things can only get better from here..
I am sorry for those who unfortunately had to re-schedule, hopefully its not too much longer before you get your boobies...

Hey hun, I bought a fab little red dress from Stella [McCartney] in Myer - it's sooo complimentary on the bustline - sexy but sophisticated at the same time. It doesn't look much on the hanger but you've got to try it on - I got so many compliments when wearing it and it's only $168!

I have a wedding to attend to this Saturday and because of my BA I have left buying a dress until the last minute.. bought a really nice dress with a wide V neck, (its not trashy as it is runched/ruffled) a lovely dress but a bit big on the shoulders for me so I went to the tailors to get it adjusted, I had to try it on I walked out of the fitting room and there was a guy there around late 30s who checked me out then did a double take

How great is it not to wear a bra with some clothes... "sighs with releif"

I then wanted to buy a wireless bra, I have bought a couple but they are so uncomfy..so went to a proper lingeree boutique and tried on a couple..the saleslady was lovely and asked if I wanted to get sized, I said no thanks (I will wait until boobies settle a bit) however I was having trouble trying to decide which one to get so asked for her help, I tried on the C cup..too small, tried a D the saleslady said I could go bigger but they dont stock that size..pmsl..sorry but I was so shocked..and it was funny.. no wonder the guy did a double take..I got the D because I'm hoping when they soften a bit more it will fit...

Hey girls,

Well I took the twins out to the races yesterday and had a little too much to drink, came home and walked boob first, into the kitchen door. Full pelt. Nearly knocked myself out!

I woke up this morning and my right boob is swollen and very hard - a bit like what it was like in the first few days.

I posted progress pics before I went out yesterday (you'll need to be my friend to see them as they're topless), and was really pleased with how they're dropping & going soft. Well, good old me has just undone all that and they're back to Week 1 again.

Hope that it'll all be ok again tomorrow - anyone else done anything similar, or am I the only fool on here?

Anyway, just remember: alcohol is bad, n'okay? <said in that South Park dude's voice>

Hi ladies! I'm 6 days post op now and things are going ok. The first day was great, second day i was sick from the antibiotics and the 3rd day i was alittle sore and sick. Since however I've been healing very fast and feeling great. Had my pos op appt and plastic surgeon says everything looks good, I started massages already and it looks like that C i was hoping for has now turned into a D :O

Well tonight I hop in the shower and before i do i notice a small dent in on the inside of my right boob, is this just the pocket not stretched out or filled out, will that go away when my boobs drop? i'm worried that its the start of cc.

Hello october girls i hope you are all recovering well, and most of all i hope you are all very happy and loving the new you yay!!!

Well i feel good and very happy with my size, but i'm a bit worried because my right breast has dropped and its a lot softer, but my left breast still very high up and kind of hard, i'm doing the massages and tanking it as easy as i can, have any of you gone thru something like this please let me know, anyways i'm going to call my doc to see what they say, i also posted some pics let me know what you think...

pix look good! i think you just have to give them time to heal and D&F, which, probably won't be at the same time..it could be awhile before one catches up with the other

17 days post op and i feel great as far as pain/swelling, etc. - no pain really, still some stretching going on every now and then..still pretty sensitive to the touch..i am pretty sure swelling gone

i am going to head back to the gym today for light cardio (yeah!), plastic surgeon said take off for 2 weeks - i have missed it

just in the waiting game now..i really really really am anxious for the D&F because presently, i am not happy with the size and hoping it gets better

i have never been professionally fitted..something about someone else touching and looking at my boobs made me nervous
