![]() | Any other...um..."mature" gals with new BA's?
I have zero regrets but at 47 years young, after reading through so many posts, I'm feelin' like the only "Experianced" "newbie to boobies"![]() If there are more ladies in my age group, I'm curious what made you finally make the decision also. I've always had a positive body image. I happily breast fed my two kids for six months, with my son, he was a preemie who never learned to suck so I had to pump for six months with him... needless to say I had some upper pole deflation. They weren't super saggy or anything but I was only really pleased with them in a push-up bra...then I discovered the gel bra inserts and yowza!!! There was a look that I loved. I finally decided that I wanted to look the same way out of clothes that I did in clothes and couldn't be happier with the outcome!!! Hubby always confessed to me that he was a butt man, and silly me believed him...turns out he was a boob-man waiting to happen Good luck to all the experianced gals who are making the decision to finally do this...do it for yourself...you deserve it!!!! |

I'm early 40's and never seriously considered because of cost. With a young family, I always felt other things were a higher priority and DH was content with "just me". Now finances are easier so I decided it was a good time. Wow....I wish I would have done it sooner. Even DH is in love with my boobies. It is too cute. I am so happy for the ladies who do it at younger ages....& beyond thrilled for us " mature momma's". |

That would be me as I'm older than you. My daughter is having her breast augmentation on Friday and she was the one that convinced me. I figured if she could do it I could to. My fiance never said to much but now it turns out he is a boob man as well . He paid for my boobs. I have good self esteem also. I nursed by daughter for 18 months and my son for 3 years. I was lucky, as I wore a bra the whole time I nursed so my boobs didn't sag too much but like you didn't have much upper pole definition. There are more of us here, but it just so happens that truly almost everyone else is younger! ![]() And yes, we deserve it!! Enjoy

I'm 49 and just had mine done after many years of nursing many babies. I'm VERY happy with the results and so is my hubby--he, too, was a "boob man waiting to happen"! We're having funnnnn...

I had the breast augmentation last Nov at 55 years young. It was the right time for me. 5-6 years of thinking about it, 1 year of research and BAM! Yes, they do tend to make "boob men" out of guys don't they? It seemed a little different experience than what I was reading from the younger members but I kind of think it was just me. More psychological than physical but I had a long recovery, too. Hope you have many happy days here in Boobieville. |

Congrats on the girls! I'm 46 and just had my 2nd breast augmentation last summer and am very pleased with the results. I had a prior breast augmentation when I was 34 and somehow wasn't really in the right headspace about it all, anyway- ended up having them removed & having a full anchor lift. I've changed over the years and was feeling much more prepared to handle all of the issues related to a breast augmentation and am very happy with my choice. Now I want to have even more 'work' done |

![]() | Welcome to Boobieville!
Hi, I'm 44 now & had mine done 7 years ago. I was on/off thinking about getting it done but wasn't financially & mentally ready for that, especially when I was younger. I wouldn't say "I wish I did etc etc", I'd rather say I'm glad I waited until things are settled and I got ready for the change. Of course when you want it, that's when you'd do it. I'm happy that I made this decision - breast augmentation was definitely the best thing I ever did for myself. Congrats on your "babies" & enjoy the new YOU

I'm 42 and just started with my consults. Hope to have surgery before the end of the year. I never really liked by breasts but they didn't bother me that much until I lost 50 lbs. over the past year. Now they are in very sad shape so it's a breast augmentation/BL for me! No matter how old (or young) you are, we all deserve to make ourselves happy! Congrats! |

I am also in my forties, nursed two kids and was a nice 36 c then. I am getting a divorce and my ex actually suggested I do it. I was going to get a breast augmentation 12 years ago but then put it on hold to have my girls. Now I just want to feel better about myself. I don't have any issues with my small A's , but just feel it will give some self confidence to date and find the right someone out there. I am so happy I found this forum because it has given me so much information to take to the doc. I can't wait to do it and will probably schedule in about October.

Age isn't important, IMO. I thought about it and talked about it and joked about it for YEARS! But never got serious, for lots of reasons. Until I hit 50, and then I got braces - my teeth needed help even more than my boobs. And once those were paid off, and a couple of friends had their boobs done, I started to think seriously about a breast augmentation. Why not? My kids are all grown. I was lucky enough to be able to afford it. So did my research. I found JBI (which helped me immensely!) and here I am, 2+ years later with absolutely NO regrets. Do I wish I had done it sooner? IDK - maybe - but for me, the right time was exactly when I had it done. Enjoy your beautiful new girls, whatever your age. Slinky |

Hi I'm 44 I've had 3 kids who are 20yo, 22yo and I have a 18month old lol, who was very much wanted. I've been wanting to get them done for years, but now I know this is the right time..My hubby is so supportive...I do feel guilty about the money, but over here we get a baby bonus which is going towards my new boobs..lol Just wanted to add that I also had braces in my 30's I actually had them on at the same time as my daughter..as I was able to get a family discount...lol I dont think age makes any difference, its a personal thing and if you makes you happy and confident then why not...

49 years old with the big 5-0 right around the corner. I'm 8 months out, breast augmentation/BL, 450cc, saline, unders. I had very saggy boobs, 1- A cup, 1- B cup, Could never find a bra to fit. I wish I had done it sooner. Very happy with my results. I can actually find a bra to fit now, 38DD, 40D.

I got my breast augmentation about 2 weeks before my 49th birthday. I never really thought about it or wanted them till my 40's. Not sure what changed my mind exactly. I had the money, tired of bathing suits and clothes not fitting right, and was just ready for a change. I have no regrets and yeah it might have been nice to have them sooner, but I'm sure glad to have them now. Congrats to all the "older" gals!!

Hi Tranner! I waited til I was 45 to get my plastic surgery. I had a few things done at the same time, and I am very happy with the results. I just turned 46 and I have no sag! I am having such fun, and my hubby is like a kid in a candy store. I am so happy I didn't think, Gee, why bother now, its so late in life!

Hi Tranner! I'm 43 and getting my breast augmentation and lift next week. I never needed to consider this surgery until after a large weight gain and loss left them very far south. I am doing this for myself so I can feel good and sexy again. I can't wait to wear strapless or spaghetti straps. I really miss those.
