Is there a difference in added weight??
I've been wondering if new breasts weigh a lot, especially to someone who has never had boobs before. I have often heard girl friends over the years complaining that their breasts are heavy (the natural ones.. I've yet to meet someone with a beautiful BA) and that they cause shoulder ache.
I have always been so small that I never have problems even if I don't wear a bra all day, so just wondering if this will be a new thing for me. (((HUGS))) |

If you click on Size info on the blue bars at the top of the page you will be instructed how to calculate the weight of your implants. I have 350cc silicone in each...my new boobs weigh 1.64 pounds total.

Im not gonna lie . . at first I could def notice the weight change (and mine are only about 1.5lbs total). After the swelling went away and my breasts had a lill more movemet to them, I distinctly remember what it felt like when I would move in such ways that the implant would move in the pocket (like bending over). To me, it was like a lead sac in there. I couldnt believe how heavy they felt. I think that was me just getting used to the new additions b/c now theyre just like anyother body part. Im totally used to them and comfortbale.

I had 310cc in each, and together they weigh 1.5lbs. Apart from on the scales I can't say I've noticed it much; I am suffering a bit from back ache at the mo but my ps said that was because my posture is different. Also I have been sleeping on my back for the past 3 weeks and I don't think that has helped!!!

I just figured mine out. I have 360 cc's saline each side. That comes to just a tiny bit over 1.5 lbs. So far I can't say I've noticed the weight at all. Too much else to notice. They haven't bothered my back, shoulders, or posture. In fact, I think I stand straighter because I am more aware of my posture.

Breast Implant Weight - How to calculate
You may be wondering how much breast implants weigh. Well, that has been covered here as well. Contrary to what many believe, silicone gel breast implants weigh more than saline breast implants. Below, you will find varying conversions, as well as how to calculate breast implant weight. PLEASE NOTE: Silicone calculations and saline calculations are based upon measurements that I personally took by weighing 400cc silicone implant and a 400cc saline implant. Silicone Silicone: 1cc weighs 0.0375 oz. To calculate the weight of silicone implants, see the directions below. If you have two 300cc implants then: 300cc x 2 = 600cc total 600cc x 0.0375 = 22.5oz 22.5oz divided by 16 = 1.40625 lbs. for both implants Saline If you have two 300cc saline implants then: 300cc x 2 = 600cc total 600cc divide by 29.574 (to convert to ounces) = 20.2880 ounces 20.5338 divided by 16 (ounces) = 1.268 lbs. for both implants

No idea what I weigh post op. I'm not big on scales but I definitely feel the weight of new boobs. I'd say that good posture will be more important.

In a practical sense, they hardly weigh anything...a few extra pounds. But these first few weeks, they FEEL heavy to me because I'm not used to having that weight on my chest. I *almost* miss that freedom of movement that comes with being flat chested - one its few perks
I think it's mainly just my poor posture and once I get used to them it won't be so bad.

Rice boobs are much heavier and more awkward. I haven't really thought about the weight of them, only that it felt like stones stuck on my chest until the muscles stretched a bit.
I would compare it to if your breasts kind of swell with PMS and get bigger and tighter or if you have had children with engorgement when your milk comes in. |
