What did you guys tell work and such?

I have my breast augmentation on Wed and I haven't told my work why I'm taking the time off...I'm sure they will notice the difference though. What did you guys say? Also, I think my mom-in-law will freak! Not too worried about her though. I'd love your guy's thoughts. Thanks!!

I would like to know too. They didn't ask when you requested time off? How many days are you taking off? My manager and coworkers always ask what I'm doing if I take more than one day off at a day. Good luck with your procedure.

for me... almost everyone knew that i was getting a breast augmentation months before i did... but my general manager (which we just got a new one and now its not a girl its a older man) i just told him i was having surgery and when he asked what for i said its personal. and he dropped it. turns out my bf (who works with me) ended up telling him anyway lol... and my other manager (also a guy) saw some co workers (girls) poking at my breast when i came back and he walked up and acted like he was gonna start poking at them to so i know they all know. just tell them its personal or something and they will drop it. good luck!

I have decided to start the leak before i leave...that way when i walk in with a hopefully noticable difference they will have gotten the gossip out of their system (during the week and a half i am not there) BUT i work in an office and we live on gossip so i am thinking there is no way around it!

I was supposed to get this done in March w/ my TT-I told everyone and got some negative feedback about the breast augmentation part. It really upset me. So, I decided to just keep it to myself when I did it this time.

I told everyone I would be out for a week. They assumed vacation so I didn't correct them. I had a staff wives event at the end of that week and told them. They all were upset because I didn't tell them so they could come and take care of me. (Two have gotten reductions since I had mine). They all told their husbands (my co-workers) I am sure.

Well, I work in an office with all men. I just told them I was taking PTO and they didn't ask. If they did I would tell them surgery, and if they further asked I would tell them it was for "girl stuff". I am pretty sure they would just leave it at that. I don't really expect them to notice the "after" and if they do I highly doubt they would say anything. I am more worried about what my family will say, if they notice. We are supposed to go to a family reunion campout 1 week after my breast augmentation and I sure won't be swimsuit ready for that. I am hoping it will cool off enough that swimming won't be an option and I can just wear a hoodie.

I told only a handful of people and just said that I was taking a week off . The news leaked so some speculation ,not that I could really hide it once I was back at work in the gym !

I had my hair cut and dyed too ,so I was like do you like my new hair .The guys were like , hair ,what hair ,nice new boobs though !

I told no one about my breast augmentation. I am so glad I did not because no one has noticed and I got 397ccs.
Before my breast augmentation I told anyone who asked that I was taking a week off to relax and maybe go to the family cottage for one last time before winter gets here.

hiya i told my boss that i had a medical issue that i had one breat bigger than the other(not easy) and had to have the other one reconstructed so it didnt sound like i was just going for a boob job if that makes sence i told him that i could only have it done on the certain dates i showed him and he was fine with it i only told one of my friends at work the others i didnt want to tell i didnt i know they know ive had it done but theyve not asked yet my boss called me a few days after the op to see if i looked like dolly parton lol luckily my op fell over the xmas period so i only had to have a few days off and then it was the holiday season so that gave me enough time to heal.youv not got to tell your boss anything though if you say its personal and you dont wish to discuss it they have to respect your privacy a few weeks before keep putting some extra padding in your bra gradually and then they wont notice it eing uite a rapid transformaion they wont really notice if they say anything say its a really padded bra ope that helps luv lea xxx let me know how you get on x

Thanks All!! I'm the boss at my place and I'm not wanting to hide it, I guess just trying to stay professional.. You guys are great and so helpful!! I've done the whole leak it out thing, because you are right, I'd rather just tell em rather than have them speculate behind my back.

I'm super excited though..how did everyone feel 3 weeks after. Are you still super swollen? I have a training video that I'm suppose to be in and not sure how it will go.

Let me know what your fam says..I tild my mom and she just tried to talk me out of it be telling me horror stories about people she knows. I just told her it's paid for! I'm more worried about what my mom in law and that side of the family.

only one girl at work knows about my breast augmentation. the rest dont. I just asked for holidays, no questions asked. =)

I haven't told my parents either. I would rather deal with them after its done, rather than before and after.

I just said "surgery" and I was surprised they didn't ask what kind so I was like phewwww no need to have an awkward conversation. I have also been padding more and more gradually so nobody will notice.

i down played my surgery. I had a breast exam prior to my surgery thought it was a good idea and they found some small stones. I had to get a biopsy to get it examined for cancer. By the time they removed all the stones from my breast it left my left boob a little flat. So, i had a breast augmentation.

Well, the truth is that i wanted a breast augmentation and thankful that i don't have cancer. People tend to be happy for me because i don't have cancer and less judgemental with the increase in my boob size.
