8 day old breast augmentation - how long till YOU had sex?

Hi ladies! I'm back after a few weeks off. I had my breast augmentation eight days ago ~ got silicone gel 400's and I am so HAPPY! The recovery is going much better and faster than I expected - but I am a little "frustrated".
My doctor says I need to wait three weeks until any aerobic activity (which includes sex). Needless to say, I can't wait three weeks, I can barely wait one more day.
I have a question. How long did you all wait until you had an orgasm after your surgery? I don't want to cause any damage or straining of the pectoral muscle - so that is why I am asking.
Please indulge me with your own experience!

Hey Danielle, personally my PS never mentioned anything about when I could or couldn't have sex. Needless to say I had sex on day 3 post op. I felt fine and it was great because I didn't have to do any of the "work"

I agree with Lesile. We had sex a week after my B/A, but it was no ROMPING STOMPING ROMANCE

if you know what I mean! It was good to let him do all the work for once anyways. I'd say just have your man be tender with you and you should be ok!!

I'm like you! It was awful having to go without, but THREE WEEKS!!!! WTH?! I think it was day 5 or 6 for me. My PS just said to take things slow; I asked about vigorous sex, I made him blush. LOL! Guess he's not used to open women! I say as long as you keep it tame, and keep you sports bra on, you should be fine. Have fun;-)

Your PS doesn't want you to do anything that can raise your blood pressure. If your blood pressure is raised it can impede healing and even cause a complication such as a hematoma or a seroma.

With that said... I had sex at about day 5 and I was cleared at my 7 day post-op appointment.

Go for it, girl! I forget what day it was... but we didn't wait longer than a week, I can tell you that. And I agree with the other ladies, take it easy and let him do all the work. If you feel worried about your boobies, just keep a sports bra on and tell him to focus his attention on other areas.

We waited about 5 or 6 days I can't remember exactly. We were just really careful.

I waited until the 4th day. My PS never mentioned no sex to me, just no running or heavy straining or lifting. We did take it very easy (no hanging from the ceiling fan or anything!!

but we couldnt wait any longer!

i did on day 5 but i have to admit it was all his pleasure ! ..... til about day 10 then i got some too !

Okay you all, I have been holding off on this one because you all are such a randy young bunch. LOL

I told my husband pre-surgery "six weeks" because I had a tummy tuck as well. He will not even suggest interest until I show him I'm ready.

I am not ready yet at nearly three weeks post-op. My breasts and tummy are sore. Even without the tummy tuck I wouldn't be ready.

Maybe

it's just that I've had so much of it in my long life that it's no big deal to wait? WINK!!

Or maybe it's my husband who is unusual. Don't get me wrong, {{TMI ALERT}} he enjoys it plenty when we do it, but he has never in 20 years importuned me. He notices when I'm in the mood and takes his cue from me. Or he asks politely from several feet away.

Sometimes I wish he was more into pawing the ground impatiently

both kinds of men have their pros and cons I guess.

My ps said wait a week! I think that is long enough to go without sex!!! Ha ha....good luck..and just go slow and take it easy..

We only waited 4 days! Coz I was in hardly in any pain...

Wasn't exactly the greatest session ever.. hah! He kept asking me if he was hurting me and if I was ok (it was like losing my virginity all over again!! haha!!) ... kinda ruined the mood BUT I love him coz he cares about me so much : )

ps. We have made up for that performance since

My hubby and I waited for a while (I can't remember the exact time, maybe a couple of weeks) before we were intimate again. He was so afraid to look, touch, anything. I think he was afraid he would break them or something. Even the first time we were intimate, he was VERY maticulous and careful, almost like he was handling a newborn! Well, he WAS handling his new twins! Ha ha!
I'm sure if you don't get "rowdy" you should be fine. Just try not to get that heart rate too out of control. Make him do all the work

My husband and I are basically living together and really have no love in our marriage. So he was a bit suprised and accepted when I propsitioned him on the 8th day. I really could have waitied longer, we had not had sex in 3 months. But, I wanted to see if the nipples would still give me some sizzle down below. They were still a little numb and I didn't get the full satisfaction them. Not sure when I will get another chance to test them out again.
