Remodel the house or BA????

I'm so torn on what to do. My fiance says he'd much rather have boobs than new floors but we really need new floors. He says one more year isn't going to hurt anything on the floors but I'm jsut so sick of looking at them. Our house is an older home and we bought it from an older couple and we still have carpet in the kitchen which kills me. I can't stand it. And the past two years we've been saying we are going to redo them but of course things have come up. It just seems like so much money for a pair of boobs. But I know come the spring time when it's time to wear the bikini I'll be kicking myself. And I hear so many of you saying that you wished you would've done it sooner. I just don't know what to do??

I would tough out the floor situation since you have a supportive fiance. But your the one who has to look at your floors. I sarificed my lease on my Mercedes for a year. My lease was up and either I took the 8,000 and put it down on a new lease or wait a year and get boobs. Well I returned my car and got the boobs. Goodnews is we are shopping for another Mercedes right now so it was not a big deal. I am happy with my decision.

Hi..I was in the same situation as you and I went for the boobs, when you get them, the floors wont seem so bad, you'll be so busy and on a high enjoying your boobs you wont care about the floor, and if you've only got to wait another 12 months for the floors, then wait..lol just think of the fun you can have with your boobies for 12 months, you cant have the same fun with your floors..lol

I hate to admit it, but I'm house obsessive and the carpet in the kitchen would drive me insane... I would have done the floors and waited the year for the boobs if I was in that situation.... I Know...I'm just weird that way

I am in a financial toss up right now as well, I was supposed to get my BA at the end of this month...but... I am going to be moving in December and would love to use the money I just saved on new furniture!!! But also I have rescheduled my surgery for mid January, and can within that time save enough for my BA again. In your situation I would definitely get the boobs though!! You know you will eventually get the floors, but you will be so hot next summer with new boobs!!! =D

Ha! Boobs versus flooring...sounds familiar! I say compromise. Rip up the carpet (well do a small corner and see what atrocity lies underneath)...and then put down some sort of low-cost tile or linoleum...You can go to a remnant store and buy, for example, a 12 x 12 sheet of linoleum, or go to a discount home store and buy sticky tiles. That's what I did in my kitchen, the tile was old, dirty and UGLY...and in order to have it fixed properly, I have to hire a carpenter cause the floor is uneven and it's not going to be cheap...so in order to save money while still avoiding ugliness (and dirt of decades!) I did a peel-and-stick and it's been that way for over a year. Out of sight, out of mind...and it actually looks really nice and wears well!

When you live in an older house, there's always something that needs updated. And it's not like you'll be moving out anytime soon!!

I would go with BOOBIES!

The boobies will fill your shirts, make you look hot for a night out with the hubby or day by the pool or beach. Boobies will make you feel good, and add new excitement to your life - and your life with the hubby.

I just dont think floors will do that much for you

Floors arent going to go out with you, and you wont be able to show them off in a sexy top or bathing suit.

Can you do both? Get the boobs and do the flooring in the kitchen and then do the rest of the flooring in a year? Carpet in the kitchen? That would drive me nuts!!! I have no carpet in my house at all

Hi, how far along in the process of choosing surgeon, overs vs unders, size, saline vs silicone are you ? If you have already researched everything you need then I think you should go for the boobs. Otherwise I would tear up that carpet ( carpet in the kitchen makes me shudder LOL ) and then be very frugal and save up again for the boobs. In the mean time you can take lots of time to do research on what you want. That can save you lots of trouble afterwards. Good luck, Rosie

Then rip the carpet up and see whats underneath..
I did that in an old home I owned and it was beautiful wood floors underneath.. I sanded and polyed them and they were beeeeutieful!
Sooo boobs first. Everything else will work out..

I think that's why I came here and asked because I knew what the majority would be.

I've done all the research and am just waiting to go on my consults, which I didn't want to do until I had all the money together. It's possible that I might not need much b/c we have hardwood floors underneath the carpeting but I just don't know what kind of shape they are in until I rip up the carpet, which is glued to backer board, which is nailed to the hardwood floors. It would be wonderful if all we had to do was pull up the carpet/backer board and just sand them down and stain them, but I'm not betting on that. I want to put some money in savings also b/c my son will be going to kindergarten in the fall and I know that'll be more money, especially if we decide to go to private school. I do really want the boobs though!!

I have no carpet in my house at all __________________ [I] 24 years old 5'4 Pre ba droopy 32DD but looked more like a small to mid C 375cc overs Cohesive silicone gel tear drops textured Now a proud 34F BA Date 6th March 2008 REDO 2nd of June 2009 Full anchor lift switched from overs to partial unders because of visible implant edges and for a more natural feel Capsulectomy for capsular contracture 360cc partial unders Looks like I'm a 34DD/E Cohesive silicone gel textured anatomical Also found out that my old implants had partially rotated and were too wide for my chest wall. They were supposed to have been HP but I was given mods or mods + (can't remember which) REVISION 10th of November 2009 Manually release left muscle so it can drop and lower pocket by 1cm Remove some breast tissue from right so they are even and do another lift as it's slighty saggy Please please be third time lucky!
