I dont think mine has? She lives 5 min away from the hosp im going to and i bet money she dont come and hold my hand.

Wow, I too got a little emotional reading it! I have not told my mum (or any of my family or friends for that matter) but I often think about the conversation I will probably have one day with her! I replay the arguements for it and what her responses will be, but your letter and her response sums up everything i want to say!! (and what I would hope for her to say in return). Congratulations, and thankyou for sharing, I think it will inspire many woman!

Awww! You dialog with your mother is so sweet. Your situation is very similar to mine. I did not know how to tell my mom. But it was killing me not to tell her. My best friend encouraged me to tell her asap, my surgery is this month! When I told her, she took it way better than I thought. She asked me if it was expensive. Then she told me, "That's why we work. To get the things we want." And she was too cute when she said, "So how big are you going to be?"

I couldn't really be excited until I told her.

Anyway, your pic looks GREAT! I am just shy of 6', but I say I'm 6'.

135lbs. Very flat. And I am getting 300cc silicone. Your size looks like it would be perfect for me, too.

Great email and response from your mom. I didn't tell my parents until I had picked a plastic surgeon. I haven't told my biological father yet (he's a bit old fashioned) cause he pretty well flipped when he saw my tattoos (I only had 2 at that time). With him its "easier to ask forgiveness than permission" as DH says.
