 | Two pre-BA milestones today!
And you know what? The scariest one was telling my boss I needed a few days off the week of the 17th! There was NO WAY I was going to tell her why, so I said things like "specialist, surgery, take care of a little something that's been going on, etc etc." She's really high strung, so I was very nervous telling her! Half an hour before, I paid for the breast augmentation. Also a nervy lil' milestone, that one. Yikes! I am a bundle of nerves right now!! What am I doing?! LOL!

Congratulations! I am not sure what to say to my boss yet - last year when I was going to all of my consults he asked if my doctor's appointment went ok. Somehow I let it slip that it was a consult for breast augmentation and it was an akward moment....I already have the days off so I just may say nothing untill afterwards since I will have to take off/adjust my schedule for all the post op appts!

Congrats on both counts! I didn't explain why I wanted time off at work, just that I wanted some PTO. I work with all men, so I really didn't want to have to explain, lol. Luckily there were no questions asked and no one said anything when I came back (not that I expected them to). If they noticed, they kept it to themselves, lol.

I didnt' tell my boss exactly either. I just told him some plastic surgery after the 3rd time he asked. Another co-worker is having something done to her **** so a breast augmentation is less embarrassing than that!

My PS is fudging my breast augmentation. So i get paid to be off for 3 wks, then 3 wks modified. I'm a nurse on a very heavy floor. She did the same thing for me last June for my TT. One of the many reasons i love her.
