Things I wish I had thought of before BA...

1:52 AM- I can't sleep. Went to bed at 10, since I was not allowed to eat or drink from 10 on. Surgery tomorrow at 10:30 AM, and here I am thinking of things I should've done. So I thought I would share.

1- Wax armpits, eyebrows and legs and anything else you dare (with ok from surgeon) before surgery.

2- Buy dry shampoo for hair- they have a fabulous one at Sephora, and I just thought of it. For those who aren't allowed to shower for a week, this may come on handy.

3- Get a sleeping pill Rx for the night before (I wouldn't be tossing and turning and awake right now). If they don't offer you one, ask!! I didn't think I would be this nervous (insert sarcastic nervous laugh here).

4- Books and magazines

5- This one I actually CAN do: get a 'do not disturb' sign for door (you can make your own). I'll be on my own on day 3, and I don't think I'll be thrilled to get the door. Any deliveries they can just leave it at the door.

I'll think of more as I encounter the needs.
