![]() | Q about financing
Ok so I have great credit, just bought a house, I will be closing in a few days, and thought about just putting my breast augmentation on my credit card until my refund comes in the mail in a couple months and just pay it off. But I saw another post about how you can get 0% interest for the first 6 months or year and figured I'd save myself a little money on interest until I pay it off in full. Question is, do you think I can qualify if I just bought a house? I also have a little balance on my credit card now, but its nothing compared to what my allowed usage is. Other then the house and credit card balance, I don't have any other loans or anything. No car payment. I don't want to try and ding my credit Anyone know? Thanks

My financial situation sounds similar to yours. I have great credit, no car payment, and no debt except for a mid-range credit card balance. When I got approved for CareCredit, I had a rent payment of $1150/month (very similar to a mortgage payment). I am self-employed as well, with income that is not consistent month-to-month. Even with these factors, I was approved instantly. I don't think it's hard to get approved for CareCredit (or SurgeryLoans, etc). I think you'll be fine. I got the impression that they mostly based their decision on your credit rating. I am on a 0% interest for 18 months plan with CareCredit. I put about $1,800 down and am paying $236 per month and will have it paid off in 18 months. Hope that helps!!
