My answer to "naturally" well-endowed friends..

Over the years, I have mentioned to several friends my desire to get a breast augmentation. Many of my friends happen to be naturally VERY well-endowed (very full Ds and DDs, maybe a few even bigger). And the answer I have always gotten from them is, "Oh, no, why would you want to do that? I have huge boobs and I hate them...they are heavy and hot and clothes don't fit...ugh, don't do it." I'm sure you all know what I'm talking about.

Anyway, I never had a great response to that comment, other than to say it was hard to buy clothes with no boobs too. Well, recently, I came up with a good response and have used it...and most of these ladies, once they think it over, change their mind and agree with me. Here's what I say to them:

"I'll assume, for the sake of this discussion, that you have thought about getting a breast reduction from time to time, since you are clearly unhappy with your size. But, I'll bet that, never once during those musings, did you think to yourself, 'Gee, if I got a breast reduction, I'd love to be a really small A.' Of course not. You think, 'Oh, wouldn't it be great to be a really full C" or some size similar. So, why should I, who barely has an A, somehow feel "wrong" for wanting to have a really full C or small D cup as well?"

Not a single lady I've used this argument on has disagreed with me, after considering it.

I think thats great. Everyone on my husbands side of the family has big boobs, and I get that all the time. "Why are you getting a breast augmentation? I wish I had smaller boobs, you will not like them" and I'm about sick of it! LOL I think your argument is great though.

Exactly the way I see it too!

I've always said something to the effect that "it's my choice to go bigger, understanding that I may be hot, uncomfortable, or my back may hurt just as it was your choice to have a reduction (I have several friends who have had reductions)." but what you said is so much better - I just couldn't put it into words before!

My moms thoughts on me getting a breast augmentation were that they were going to be HUGE and I was going to be busting out of all my clothes etc...I just wanted SOME boobs!!
That is a VERY good analogy tho!!
Yeah, I bet if they had the choice to get a reduction to get an A...AA...AAA cup....Yeah, they'd suck it up and *suffer* with what they have naturally.

Yep I've heard that from a well endowed friend..."I hate them...I can never find clothes that fit"...but after I got my breast augmentation all of my xs shirts still fit I just fill them out so much nicer so I have no idea why she can't find clothes that fit..lol.

I LOVE IT !

I have well endowed friends who complain about their big boobs being cumbersome and uncomfortable, (not fitting into clothes etc) How would they feel if they came to us and talked about a reduction and we replied, " oh god, why would you want to do that, I have small boobs and they're awful. I can't find clothes, don't feel like woman, etc." It's impossible describe this "flatchested" feeling to those who have NEVER experienced it. But I think you hit it dead on...good job
