Congrats on going! Isn't it exciting?!

I went for mine in October and I wish I would have maybe brought a pen and paper to write down things I may forget. I'm pretty sure everything he said stuck in my brain just because I want boobs so bad hahaha! But there were little things I missed (nothing an email to the office cant take care of).

Go in with an open mind, have fun, and ask whatever may come to mind. My nurse and PS were so wonderful I think they both went above and beyond on information.

I was dead set against silicone when I walked in because of all the things "I've heard" but both the nurse and PS went over EVERYTHING and I felt MUCH better after and had a whole new outlook on silicone - thank goodness because I was not blessed with boobie tissue and my doc will only do silicone on me.

I asked about the different implants, the sizes, where'd they'd place it, incision areas, pos' complications, recovery time, time off of work, post op pain meds - just whatever came to mind, even if he was talking I'd jump in if a question popped into my head. If you have question you want to make sure to ask, jot them down before hand bring them with you.

They did a try on session with me and I was so excied! They had me use a bra of theirs and a shirt (wish I could have used my own I think I would have a better idea as to how each size would look, but I can do that before I book surg.)

After I saw the PS they went over everything that would need to be done before my breast augmentation (blood work, payment, finaning) and they gave me 2 books on the implants I'd be getting, to take home and read over. I also got the price of my "girls"

GOOD LUCK!!!! Keep me posted how ya made out!

YAY!!! Goodluck! I was going to go to a consult with Dr. Hunstad - he is SUPER close to my work - but ended up falling in love with a different PS in the meantime LOL I would just google important breast augmentation questions... That is what I did and I came up with A TON that way!!!! I dont remember any particulary important questions other than obvious size, incision, etc. type questions and to ask about complication rates, redo procedures if necessary, and what is covered in terms of post op appointments and for how long..

GOODLUCK!!!!!!!! Keep us posted on your progress!!!!

I'm so excited for you!!!! Dr. Hunstad is wonderful, and I can't wait to see his new office. You'll be one of the first in the new building. He is a great listener, in my experience, so feel free to tell him exactly what your looking for, what you don't want, and what he recommends. He will tell you if something is not a good idea &/or the risks of a particular size etc.; however, he allows his patients to "conduct their train," so you may need to specifically ask him what he would choose in a specific comparision. For example, let's say 2 sizes in different profiles would work for your frame. He will sit back and let you pick what your after, but if your unsure, you may need to specifically ask him what he thinks would be better & why. Does that make sense? I'm going back on the 30th to bump up to 304cc. I have been so happy with his work, he gave me everything+ what I wanted, but I've decided (with more settling) to seek a tad more. If he were unable to do my "redo," I would not go to anyone else. I would just be happy with what I have. His credentials, no infections in all of his yrs. of practice, and extremely low cc rates speak to his skill. Anyway, I don't mean to sound like a Hunstad infomercial. Easy for me to say don't be nervous, but I think you will be very pleased to have him as an option for doing your breast augmentation. PLease let me know how it goes Best wishes!
