![]() | Different sized silicone implants???
I have read a lot about Silicone implants of different cc's give a big difference in results. I would like some feedback from others on this. I had a slight difference in size pre breast augmentation (barely noticeble). My Dr. asked me if I wanted to correct this and I said it was up to her based on what she thought my post op results would be. I didn't want to be uneven post op given that I was going bigger. She decided to go for 400cc left/ 425cc right. I can't help but look at them now (7 wks. post op) and think I have the opposite issue now. Pre breast augmentation my right was smaller but now it looks bigger than the left...I wanted the implants to correct the size difference not create a new issue!!! What do you guys think...

My breasts were different sizes (and since they were small, it seemed like a large difference). My PS told me with the implants, the size difference would not be an issue. She used 275 in both breasts. My left is still a *very* little bit larger than my right. I do not have a problem with them being different sizes.

pre-op, my right was bigger than my left and i was supposed to get 375 in the left and 350 in the right to even this out. come surgery time, my ps took out the 350 because he felt it wasn't going to be even. i ended up with 375 in both and now i think they are even.

There was a slight difference for me but not enough for two different size implants. The actually look pretty even to me now.

Mine were VERY difference sizes if you read my signature. I think a lot of surgeons try different sizes in the OR to see what will look best. Mine tried 5 different sizes. My left one has a bigger implant and appears smaller still, since the implant is sitting higher up. At my post-op appt yesterday, they said they look like they will be completely symmetrical! woohoo!

I agree with what you are saying, Getting implants for me was to make me feel better, look better and correct the issues I had. I too had a slight difference in size pre breast augmentation, Since it was so small and I knew silicone was my choice Getting 2 different implants would just create the same problem on the other boob. So I have 397cc in both breasts, The one that was bigger before is slightly bigger still of course but I cant notice it now and Im happier with my new boobs! Talk to yoru doctor and express your concern, even if you dont plan on changing it. Just communicate with your doctor so they understand your PO recovery. I would just heal and see what happens and go from there. Make sure they are fully dropped and see what you feel than. I hope I helped
