Question WHEN did you start RUNNING? AFTER BA

Hello my lovely JBI ladies!

So I am dying to RUN! I love to run, and exercise in general. Now that the cool fall weather has hit, I am craving a good run! My PA did say running was okay 8-12 weeks post breast augmentation, with a high impact sports bra. I am 9 weeks post op now.

So my question is... When did you start running?Do you have any tips for me starting up running again? Any soreness in the girls? I am assuming I wont have any soreness, since I bought an underwire - high impact sports bra and even one size small so its snug! My goal is to have ZERO movement in my girls while I am running.

Thanks ladies as always!!!

I had to wait until I was 3 months out. Once I started running again it took some getting used to, but now it is normal feeling. I didn't have a lot of bounce at first, that came more in later months as my implants got softer. I did notice more boobie sweat then I had ever had before. I also noticed that my headlights were always on. I put a little pad from and old swimsuit in my bra to provide a litte more or a barrier between my nips and the world. Just take it slow and give yourself time to adjust to the difference in your body. I had to make sure I wasn't sticking them out too far because I'm a straight back runner. My boobs were turning the track before I was.

I had a full anchor lift and was cleared to run 4 wks post op. It felt a little weird like I could hear a little swooshing the first few times but then it was gone I did wear like 2 or 3 sports bras to make sure they dont move lol. My lower back was a little sore the first few days i think it was just the weight getting used to but fine now and doing about 5-6 miles a day yay!!!

My breast augmentation is Dec 23rd and I'm worried about gaining while I'm healing!! I'm always in the gym and actually just recently got into running. My PS said I could walk and do stationary bike or stairs a couple weeks after, but no running for 4 weeks and even then would have to be with 2 sports bras like some other ladies said.

My PS said no physical effort for one month, afterward I could start running and at 3 months go to the gym again, w/out working out the top side. But since i never bothered to do any of those things, I guess you should be fine after 4 weeks . Your PS should tell you that more specific bc everyone is diff. about post op instructions.
