Thanksgiving Week breast augmentation Ladies...

Hey girls,
we're coming up in less than a week. 4-5 days really. I have my breast augmentation on Mon Nov 23.
How is everyone feeling? What are you doing to prepare? Is anyone suffering from Pre-Boobie Blues like me? For some reason, I'm really kind of depressed and anxious. I think it has some to do with the season change as well...I get moody in the winter. Why did I schedule my breast augmentation in the winter...UGGGHHH

Hey...mine is coming up the day after yours. I'm nervous, but excited. I keep looking at everyone's pictures here and wondering how it's possible I'll look like that. I'm so afraid I won't! But I'm going to trust my doctor and focus on the fact that I've wanted this for such a long time!!

I came down with a cold yesterday and was a little nervous my doc's office would want to postpone (their pre-op instructions say to call immediately in the 10 days before if you get the flu, a fever, a cold, etc.). But I called and they said cold is fine, just as long as no fever or vomiting. So, I'm good to go so far.

Otherwise, not doing too much right now to prepare. Just watching the days fly off the calendar!

That is sooo good to hear!! I have a little sniffle and congestion but no fever/vomiting etc. I was going to call my PS in a panic about it, but I guess it's probably not that big of a deal.
I'll remember to post ASAP so you have a quick idea of what it's like. I'll be thinking of you on tues...unless I'm too doped up on pain meds and I don't know what's going on...hahaha

Well good luck to both of you... I'm excited to hear about the results. I'm just going for my consultation on tuesday the 24th of november, and hoping to get them done in January 2010... I'm nervous and excited all at the same time... Can't wait to get the new addition

I get mine done Tuesday!!! Whooo-hooo!! The PS office called this morning to let me know I need to be there at 7 instead of 8, which I don't mind thats one more hour I don't have to wait!!

I've been wearing the ricers around at night, just doing normal things like loading and unloading the dishwasher to see if I'm making the right decision on size and stuff - thats my biggest fear, I keep upping the ccs just a little and I don't want to go too big and look heavy. Also I'm a little sad for my 'little girls' - I have thouroughly enjoyed my little boobies and am sad to see them go in a way. But I'm more excited to have the figure I always wanted. It doesn't feel real, I don't think it will till they're under my skin and i can touch my big ol boobies!!

Also I'm on vit C and iron supplements to get ready for surgery and I put on plenty of coco butter lotion to get my skin moisterized and ready to stretch out!

Having mine tomorrow, WHOOHOOO. I'm been making my list and checking it twice, trying to be prepared as I can. As far as preboobie blues, I'm just ready to get it over with. And just think, come bathing suit season, we will be healing and looking hot! Good luck girls!

I'm scheduled for the 23rd as well!!

This is an ULTRA busy time at work this week so my focus has been actually on WORK instead of BOOBS! LOL

I've been working on a grocery list to be sure that I have everything stocked and ready..... and this weekend I plan to do a big clean on the house and get all of the laundry done so that I dont have anything to worry about Sunday night.

I'm fairly stressed about NOT being able to do normal things for a while, but my husband assured me that he will be there to help me out.... I just dont think he realize how much I actually DO around here!

Anyhow, I'd love to chat with you ladies since we are all in the same week!

My surgery will likely start (or is scheduled to anyhow) at 8:15 on Monday morning and I need to be the hospital by 6. I'm hoping to be home by 2 or 3 in the afternoon...... so that the recovery can start. I'm trying to do what I can to hide it from my kids, so we'll see how that goes!

Plus today I'm home with a migraine so I've done nothing but think about my breast augmentation all morning. Blah! At this point I just want to get this over with and get back to a normal life. I've been so stressed these past few weeks.... plus with the holidays and some work stress I'm looking forward to laying around in my recliner watching Judge Judy for the next two weeks.

You're totally right! We are going to be hot just in time for swimsuit season. I hope you feel better. Enjoy your shows next week.

Mine's the day after yours!! I'm also nervous and excited, seems like this week is going by so slow!! I absolutely can't wait. I do ask myself if I'm sure but then I look down or in the mirror and re-afirms why I wanted it.

Mine is next Wednesday, which means my post-op is actually 8AM Thanksgiving Day! I'm going to bring the doctor a little holiday gift basket to bring home to his wife and kids.

This week I've basically been starting my vitamins (Vitamedica), cleaning, shopping...and obsessing over every little detail. I just want them to hurry up and get here!

i got my breast augmentation the week of thanksgiving 3 years ago! its a great week to do it because business is usually slow and you get all that time off to recover!

I'm worried about this too - the kids, my fiance's kids age 10 and 8 - are here this weekend, they'll go back home Monday, I'll have my surgery Tuesday and they'll be back Wednesday for his part of the Thanksgiving holiday break. We aren't sure what to say to them or how they will react! I am very open and do not mind telling them and having the talk with his daughter about how she should love her body no matter what. Im getting really excited!! I do feel a little guilty about doing it the day before Thanksgiving but it will only be me, my son and my mom (husband is in Iraq). Thank goodness for her, she will do a small dinner because I will be drugged and quite sore.

I seem to aim for holidays, being in school, it is on the only time I have free. I did my TT and Lipo on Christmas eve last year! Now that was crazy...hopefully I get to finally spend the next couple holidays drug and pain free LOL

I probably wouldnt tell them if it were me..... I would wait and if it leaked later that you had them done then so be it, but I wouldnt discuss it with the kids at all. I'd actually try to hide it while they were there..... it can be quite the touchy subject for a lot of people and I dont think a 10 or 8 year old is prepared to deal with mom potentially bashing the soon-to-be step mom...... I just wouldnt want to put the pressure on them, that's all.

My daughter is 10, son is 6------ And I'm going to try my best to keep it completely under wraps. My husband knows and my best friend of 25 years...... Other that that...........NO ONE........ (((((AND I REALLY WANT TO SHOUT IT AT THE ROOFTOPS!!))))

Have the fiance take care of the kids and the business around the house. Perhaps you just "hurt your back" or something so there is really no question. ;-)

My breast augmentation is november 25th!!
i'm kind of started to think twice about it...i mean i'm going through with it no matter what! i'd definitely regret not going through with this.

but i think i'm going to miss having little boobs. like i wont be able to hold my boyfriend as close to me, fit into the xs shirts, or sleep on my tummy(thats how i fall asleep every night).

and what if i end up with weird frog eye nipples(one facing up and one facing to the side) or one starts falling down to my belly button or they dont drop at all.

ugh and then i start classes again on my 5th day post op which i'm very nervous about!! i have a ballet class where a leotard is mandatory attire...i've been tripling up on bras so there wont be a dramatic change in appearance but i cant hide it if they're still up under my chin! lol

and whats worse for me is that i have no one thats supporting me...my boyfriend doesnt care and my mom doesnt want me to have it.

My surgery is the 24th ~ which I chose because of the holiday at work, I get an extra bang for my two days of vacation used! I'm nervous & excited ~ this week I think I've spent more time on JBI at work than I have on actual work... which I feel guilty about, but it's been slow and this is a big deal!

cg22 - I'm a little apprehensive myself on how I'll miss some of the advantages of small boobs ~ you pretty much covered the top items on my list. Being able to fit into small sizes is what I'm really concerned about, which is why I'm so indecisive on the final size. If I go too big, nothing I wear will fit my waist anymore, and I like my hourglass figure. /

And another thing, cg22 ~ you may not have anyone *there* to support you, but I guarantee you the girlies on this site aren't going to let you go on thinking you're all alone! This place is going to be my rock, regardless of whether my DH is around the house to help!
