OMG.... I tried on bra's today!!!

Well that 34C I was hoping for is a thing of the past! I am a 34D and in some bra's a DD!!! OMG!!! How many of you were surprised you were a full cup bigger than what you were aiming for?

Your a 34D now? Where did you go to get sized. I had an emotional breakdown because of the size I THOUGHT I was (until I got sized today

). I have a post about it. Anyway, just wondering, because now I wonder if I may size differently at different places. My PS said Victoria's Secret bras run small. So I may go there next. I may be a 34D there too!

(although I think I'd prefer to be a 34C across the board)

I bought a 34dd pre op that I just tried on yesterday and it fit like a glove.

I got 2 cup sizes bigger than I wanted or expected. I was not happy about it though. lol

I was a 32 AA FLAT as a board...i went to VS to get sized, and i was told i was a 32C ~ The sizing there, by the way, was very discreet.

I also went to JCPenney and recieved the same exact measurements.

I purchased a bra at VS, but returned it because i couldn't believe i spent THAT much on a bra that after i looked at Nordstroms, and elsewhere...well, yikes..i just couldn't. VS is pretty proud of their line...

32C are hard to find most places, VS DID carry the size... but was told both places that 34B is the sister size.

lol..I was the same way. I wanted to be a full B. After my swelling went down I thought I was around a B....I can't even FIT into a B! I am a 32C

It's a nice feeling isn't it??

I was measured at La Senza here in Canada, I tried on 34C's 32D's and they were all to very small. I tried on a 34D with absolutely no padding in it thinking oh wow this looks huge no way will it fit and to my surprise it fit perfectly! I was in shock I stood there in the dressing room thinking "omg I need to tell someone" so i opened the door and looked for my mom out in the hall and I was like "pssst mom come here...... and she looked and I said its a 34D and it fits perfect, I wasn't expecting this!!!" and she just said "well you got what you paid for and more, you wanted boobies...well now you got some!" hahaha

oh yes...it happened to me too lol i was aiming for a 36C, which i ended up with after my surgery for the first couple of months... and now i am a 36D...lol i'm just glad i ended up being a little larger than i had anticipated, instead of ending up smaller...

Happened to me too!! Totally surprised and totally happy! VS does run small but ok with me. VS 32dd, elsehere 32d or 34c as next best fit. When your were a AAA like me.....all of it is great!

Luck you! I'm only an inch taller then you and got 400's. My ribcage measures 30"(you look smaller around then me), so that is still considered a 34 according to the chart on this site.
I really need to go get fitted sometime, I don't know how to tell if a bra fits correctly since I always wore them too big on purpose before my breast augmentation.

I did try some on about a week ago and tried on 34C's and 36B's and 36C's. They all seemed to "fit", I just don't know what the heck I'm doing! Maybe I should go try a 34D, haha. I'm trying to wait because I know they will change over time, I'm only 17 days post-op . Looking forward to D&F!!!!!

i thought i was only C cup or something, but when i was measured and told i was a 34DD/E i was absolutely made up!!! still am 4 months on hehe

I was thrilled when I was sized and they told me 32D! I went into my PS telling him I just wanted to be a C-cup, but I learned after the fact that 36B, 34C, and 32D all have the same cup size, it's just the band thats different.
I'm thinking I'm probably going to need a 30DD before all is said and done.

I thought I was a C but ended up being a 34D!!! I was a 36A or a 34B before so I went up two cup sizes but I don't look like a D cup more like a C cup. But i'm happy with my size and have no boobie greed here.

I love this thread. Totally giving me hope that I really will be at least a D or DD YAY!!! I think I will be because I was a B very small C if you pushed my boobies up into a bra LOL and I put in 340's. For the fun of it I measured last night and with swelling I was an E so I am guessing all settled a good D.

OMG! I'm so happy to hear that i'm not the only one who's boobies ended up being so much bigger than planned! I wanted a full C baby D. Well as of 3 days ago i measured at 32E! I couldn't believe it! But i am loving them! At first i thought i was gonna have some boobie greed but luckily that didn't happen! I am 5 weeks post op and i cant wait to D&F. To be completely honest i wouldn't be mad if they kept growing a little, but.. I love them now and wouldn't complain either way! I FRIGGEN LOVE MY BOOBS!!!

I was pleasantly surprised when I had my fitting too :-)
I was SOOO upset before my fitting I told my DH, "What if i'm only a B cup?!!"

Well, turns out I'm a 32D

With 400's I was hoping for a full C or small D. Boy was I surprised after the 1st week I was a D!

Then I thought oh this is great! Now, when D & F started I went to a DD & now an F.

Talk about trouble finding a bra! I can only find them online!
But, I'm smiling the whole time!!!!!!!!!
