Did anyone have a BA in June or July? or anytime in the summer?!

I won't be able to go in for surgery till the end of may or june.. maybe even july. Is that an awful time to get it done? If I got it in may would I be good by July? I really don't want to have to wait till after next summer...but I don't want to rush it and be sorry and miserable all summer! I would love to get them sooner but considering my daughter is still BF I can't.. any advice?

Had mine 7-2. Able to wear swimsuit but there were very obvious. Round, high, shiny. Only wore at home. Had to wear sports bra for a month so no cute tops. Otherwise, it was fine. After a month, I could wear any bra so that expanded my options for tops but then it was almost fall. Next summer will be perfect.

i had mine the end of July...i did wear a swimsuit, but not at the beach, as they were still a little too frankenboobish for me lol it was nice to not have to deal with putting on tons of layers and a jacket, as far as healing, being comfortable, etc were concerned...HTH

i had mine (the first one) on july 9th and was still able to enjoy the summer and wear swimsuits! my implants were very small, though, so i didn't look augmented even in the beginning.

I had my breast augmentation in may, I wore bathing suit when I went to the beach I think 3weeks post op & they didn't look bad at all. The only thing I miss about nit being able to do was going jetskiing & things like that, but summer I wasn't misarable. it really it's not a bad time to get it done.

I did mine in late August. Summer is not a bad time to get a breast augmentation done, as long as you are not dying to go swimming.

I've had a breast augmentation in November, and 2 breast augmentation's in June. Unless they're REALLY high, you shouldn't have much of a problem. Even if they're somewhat high, you can cover them with the right clothing. Alot of women don't have super-high implants to start with, and you may be one of those, but you won't know until you have surgery. If you HAVE to be ready by swimsuit season, I'd try to get it done in May, at the latest. Otherwise, get it when you can (and when you're most comfy). You're gonna be thrilled w/the new additions no matter WHEN it's done.

After I weaned my son I had MAJOR engorgement in one side (his prefered side-the little stinker was picky!), and I took benadryl or sudafed to help dry up my milk. After the engorgement passed I took about another full month o completely dry up (and by that I mean my milk was gone, but I could still squeeze out some if I tried, if you know what I mean?). Great job bf!!! SO good for baby!

Regarding the timing, I am aiming for early-Mid May as I'm in nursing school and I think it'll be too risky to do it over spring break. My goal is to look great my 4th of July! I think it's do-able!

So glad you asked this question! I'm planning to have mine June 1st and was worried about it being a bad time. I wanted October, November ish so it would be easier to hide but due to work and needed to have someone cover for me, summer is the best time because we have more people to help.

Again, great question!!

I had my breast augmentation in late July and if I had to do it over I would definitely do it in winter because I went back to work in one week with long button up shirts to try to cover up. I didn't want to look obvious at work so was forced to cover up. It would've been easier if it were cold out and I looked like everyone else in the office.

I had mine at the end of May... and I would say I was fully able to enjoy summer and the new additions by mid June! It is hard to cover them and figure out what to wear. I lived (and sweated to death) in zip up hoodies for the first week. And, depending how long you have to wear a surgical/sports bra ( I only had to for 1 week), its hard to cover with summer clothes. Another consideration is that you can't work out. This isn't a big deal if you're naturally thin or if you don't work out. But I personally need to work out to maintain the size I like to be and I definitely gained wait over the 6 weeks of no cardio. It wasn't tons of weight but I would have rather been able to work out for the summer than the winter.
