I don't know what the upper pole on breast are....can someone fill me in?? Thanks ladies!!!

From what I've read (correct me if i'm wrong ladies)... Upper pole fullness is when there is a lot of upper cleavage like up top like down from ur collar bone... kinda like what a push up bra does. While medial fullness is cleavage like right in the middle of your boobs.

Its a good term to know.. that way when you walk in for a consult you can better describe exactly what you want. That way instead of just saying "I want great cleavage" which can mean a thousand things you can kinda pinpoint what kind of cleavage ya want.

the top left corn pic has some upper pole and medial cleavage... while the left bottom pic has less upper and mostly just medial cleavage

That was a very informative post - thanks so much - I am going to print that out for when I go to my pre-op. I've never seem cleavage explained that way.

Yes upper pole fullness refers to the upper portion of the breast tissue being full.
The differant varieties of implants provide different fullnesses EX: the moderate and moderate plus (mentor's names) are like saucers and provide upper, medial and lower pole fullness. One is more wide and the other is less wide (the one for your depends on the size of your ribcage and chest) The high profile (on the other hand) is for outward fullness --by this I mean they stick out more rather than filling the upper pole and lower pole.

All of the implants I just mentioned are round so they don't have the possibility to spin and cause a problem--However the "tear-drop" shaped implants are thinner at the top and larger at the bottom (to give you a more 'natural' curve down from your chest wall) but they do have the possible complication of spinning once inside you and looking oblong (they are also a bit more expensive!)
