Hi everyone, i've got my breast augmentation booked for 11th December i'm getting so excited about it i can't wait!!! Anyway... i'm trying to plan everything and just got a few questions if anyone could help out that would be great! 1. I'm worried that i will be in a lot of pain after my breast augmentation as i've never had kids before so theres not much stretch in my boobs... is there anyone on here who has had a breast augmentation and not had kids yet? 2. Will i need to buy a shirt/top with buttons down it for the day after the op as im guessing its hard to lift your arms up to put a normal top on? What else should i put onmy lsit of things to buy before my surgery? 3. Also just wondered if theres anyone a similar size to me and what size implants they had. Im 5ft2, 103lbs, 32A, and 27 inch ribcage, im generally really petite, narrow shoulders etc. I'm planning on having 275cc cohesive gel textured implants above the muscle, any ideas of what size i will get to? i'm hoping for a large C/ small D. 4. I keep reading posts talking about 'morning boobs' but have no idea what this means!! someone please tell me! Em xxx |

first of all, wishing you the best for your breast augmentation, and i'll try to answer some of your questions.Quote:
one thing i can tell you for sure - it was well worth the discomfort. i cant really call it pain becuase the pain meds look after that ![]() Quote:
things to buy .... i suggest you wait for one of the more experienced ladies to give you a link to the main JBI site with things to buy before surgery. Quote:
pre breast augmentation i was 36A. i now have 360cc cogel overs and am a 36C - sometimes a 34D depending on the bra. to be honest i don't think that 275cc will get you a full C. you might need to go bigger. but considering your ribcage, i suggest you consult your PS. There are girls in here with 27 rib cage and even less. they might help you out better Quote:
it means that when you wake up and get out of bed first thing in the morning, your boobs feel heavy and hurt. after a night of lying down and not feeling pain, you feel kinda heavy. it lasts a few weeks post op and sometimes comes back when its "that time of the month".hope to have been of some help. if not, don't worry there are plenty of other very helpful ladies in here.

milla did a fine job answering all your questions so I'll just comment on your ccs and ribcage. I'm heavier than you (5'1" 108 first thing in the morning before I eat) but I have a 27 and a half " rib cage and I went from a very flat very deflated 32A to a 32D with 325 cc HPs. I'm with milla about not being too sure that 275? will get you a baby D, but you never know. There's a girl on here with a 25 inch ribcage, I think Reese---maybe she could field this question.

thanx you 3 for your replys... its helpful getting other peoples opinions! i have another question... i have to wear a really tight sports bra type bra which the surgeon supplies me with straight after surgery. I then have to wear it for 6 weeks without taking it off- except for when you need a shower. I just wondered if anyone of you on here had to wear one for 6 weeks- i think its going to get really annoying!!

Hi, Welcome to the forums! From what I can tell, people get widely varying post-op advice about what bras they should or shouldn't wear and for how long. None of it's *wrong*, different surgeons just have their own preferences, so go with what he says. I have heard of people having to wear their special bras for 6 weeks post, and others are instructed to just leave the girls completely free immediately post-op. I can understand that 6 weeks is a long time and it will be uncomfortable... but it'll be worth it! You want to have the best chance at a great result. If it reeeally bothers you, maybe ask your PS if it's possible to take it off for a few hours here and there to give yourself a break? Regarding size, I do think you'll need more than 275cc to achieve a small D. My ribcage is 25" (you can see the rest of my stats on my sig) and I'm going with 275cc to achieve a Full B or, most probably, a small C. With your stats you may get to a C cup with 275cc but you may still be disappointed so I recommend going bigger if you have your heart set on a small D. Have you discussed your size goal with your surgeon? |

Hi Missmole...I'm almost 7 weeks post op and I still have to wear a tight sports bra for at least 8 hours a day. I go to the p/s Tuesday for my 7 week check up and I'm hoping to do away with the sports bra.

I didn't have much pain afterwards, but we're all different. I'm not too sure about cohesive gel, so I'm not sure what size you'd end up being... I wore a lot of zip front track jackets the first few days and yoga pants.

WOW So much info to follow up! as far as the pain for me... it didn't even compare to childbirth... my tattoos hurt worse honestly.. it was more the multiple things that were uncomfortable that made it overwhelming.. such as the pressure ( from putting something under the skin that wasn't that big begore, the muscle pain from being under muscle which you wont have to deal with and the incision pain which was more after the first 3 days after the numbness wore off.... so it is more all them combined that made it so uncomfortable. I also had a very high tolerance to pain meds so that didn't help! as far as the front open things. I bought way too many and hated them so much by the first week i was done with them...and hunted for anything else... i think i wasted $ on buying too many. i also bought some pullover sports bras and found myself getting sick of them fast too.. they also had me wearing ( well HAVE me ) wearing this stupid strap that is so uncomfortable w/out a bra. to push them down cause i didnt have much before..... i think it not only differs between Drs but different cases if you are getting a lift and very large implants of course they are going to want you to be supported as much as possible.. if you are like me or you persay that didnt have much to begin with i think they do not worry so much about the support on the beginning ESP when they are trying to push mine down! LOL ok next question i agree with going with more CCs I am only slightly bigger than you and got 375 ccs and am like 32D.. 34D ( I actually went and tried on bras today i couldnt help myself) the Cs didnt cover but the 34 D was a bit big grr./.. and target does not have not a one 32 D so victorias secret or fredericks i hope will have them!!! I do not think i could wear a DD unless it was a 32 which i had no way to try..... but if you want a C/D ( which everyone ends up wanting D at least it seems) 275 doesn't seem to be enough.. but then I am under and you are going over so really you have to rely on your PS's expertise, you know??? Morning boobs??? um i think ui had that a few times I only slept in my bed the last 2 nights the other nights I was in my recliner,. I have noticed when i bend over picking stuff up alot they are like tensed when i stand up straight... but then they are still a lot tensed anyways and I wasnt even like a weight trainer before!!... DAMN I hate this strap!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ok I hope all of our info helps welcome to the forum and congrats on your new girls your getting!!!

1) I had already had children when I had my breast augmentation, but I don't think it made a difference. My chest muscles were never stretched out prior to breast augmentation, and that's what causes the discomfort. 2) DEFINITELY wear a button up shirt to surgery. I made the mistake of wearing a tshirt when I had my second surgery. That was a lesson learned!! 3) I think that 275cc will give you a large B cup. I'm 5'2", 108lbs. (I was 100lbs when I had my first breast augmentation). My first set of implants were 400cc, and they took me from a 32FLAT to a D cup. My ribcage is 28". 4) "Morning boobs" is when you get up in the morning (or anytime you've rested for several hours) and your muscles get tight. It's just like when you work out really hard (whether it's at the gym, raking leaves, etc.), and you don't feel sore at all until you get up the next day. Same thing. THe mornings were the worst. Once I got up and got to moving around, I was ok. |
