2 BA's anyone: first armpit incision & 2nd crease?

Hello,
My question goes out to ladies who have had 2 or more BA's. The first was an armpit/ tranauxillary incision and the second was a crease incision.
As some of you might know I only have 8 days to recover!!! (hiding the BA from my folks). Therefore, I know there is more pain and I would imagine your muscles hurt more if you get your BA through the armpit. I am seriously thinking that maybe the crease incision is better as I will get a 2nd BA after having babies and I want silicone for that one. Therefore, the PS would probably need to do a crease incision anyway!!
Can anyone who has had both Armpit/Crease compare function wise, I am not that worried about pain as I will get a pain pump!
Thanks so much
Gwen

I have only had the transax incision but I don't feel like I had an excessive amount of pain. My arms didn't hurt except for the fact that I didn't move around much and got stiff. If your PS is experienced with transax and does it correctly, it is the least invasive because the muscle doesn't have to be cut- the surgeon can just "slide" it behind the muscle and into place.

Oh yeah, and my PS told me that he could do silicone implants through my amrpit too. I almost did that- but at the last minute I chose saline. It's harder to get the silicone in that way, but it IS possible.

Well, you don't always need a second incision if you get a redo after transax. It is possible to get silicone through the transax incision as well but you need to find an experienced PS to do it, I think Nikki at some point said that a friend of hers had 500cc silicones placed in through the transax incision by Dr. DeWire for example. Mine said that 350 was the maximum he would do through that incision because he felt it risks the implants riding up later on but then again, his preferred method is crease incision with overs so I really don't think he does transax much at all, thus his lack of confidence (and it is better to say you won't do it than do something you feel shaky with!).

Have you considered just saying you have a sore back/neck as an excuse for stiff movements, or something similar?

Thanks for the advice but I am not really sure if that will work but I will try
I just pray I am complication free or I will be in big trouble!

I have only had the armpit one but no pain worries at all. The pain was in my chest, not my armpits much. I love that incision, scars are wonderful as well. My PS did say that the incision is bigger for silicone so the scar will be a little bigger.
