Negative input by others?

So last night i went to a friend of the families house and she had 2 other women over there. One woman i knew and the other i had never met before. And everyone kept asking me WHY??? And the woman i had never met looked at me in disgust shaking her head! She tells me " That wont help you self esteem!" in a smugg voice.
I told her i didnt have a problem with my self esteem and ignored her and then she continued to shake her head at me and gave me a dirty look for the remainder of my time there! luckily i was only there for about a half hour.
This is why i havent told anyone what im doing cuz i dont want to hear everyones NEGATIVE CRAP INPUT! Srry ime venting but this has left me in a pissed off mood all last night and a little today! How dare that stupid ignorant woman! Just because im getting implants doesnt make me a bad person!

I feel women like that fall in to 2 categories:

* those that have always had boobs and don't understand how hard it is to go through life without them
or

* those who don't have boobs and are jealous because they are too chicken or too close minded to get a breast augmentation

YUP and I've also been one of the girls asking "why would you do that?" to one of my best friends. This was YEARS ago but I got caught up with another friend (what is it about 3 females??) who thought she was doing it for the wrong reasons or didn't need it..can't remember. But I did jump on the bandwagon and try to talk her out of it. Reason?? Jealousy. It really all comes down to that. I had no way to get the money for a breast augmentation at that time and was stupid and mid-twenties. I was jealous..pure and simple. Didn't want her to stand out from our group. Now, I ask you, how shallow and messed up is that??!!!

I know the next time that friend comes into town I am going to tell her how sorry I am about giving her a hard time during one of the most important decisions in her life. What a crappy friend I was..ugh. (SORRY BARB!!)

You have to develop a thicker skin tho cause this is just a little piece of what's to come cause AFTER you get the breast augmentation all the whispering and weird looks will start. You are doing this for you and screw the people who try and rain on your parade!

P.S. The friend looked AMAZING after her breast augmentation..she did before but it gave her such inner confidence that she literally shone from the inside out.

Some people just like to judge and some people are just jealous. Honestly though, I got more flack before my boob job than after. After, I really only got positive remarks. You have nothing to worry about

sorry to hear that. im almost a month post op and theres only one person who knows about my breast augmentation, my sister. she understands.... i dont have plans of telling others about it. if they ask, yes i will tell them i bought these babies. i will refuse to hear them asking me "why".....I DONT OWE ANY EXPLANATION TO ANYBODY. im not doing this for anybody, not even for my husband. im doing this for myself. love me or hate me. dont worry about them xoxoxox!

The first thought that came to mind when I read that was that this woman is 1. Obnoxious for saying something like that to you. and 2. Probably jealous because you look great. Ignore her and her rude remarks and enjoy your new body. Remember, you did this for you and no one else. Don't let the A$$holes of the world ruin it for you.

AHHH!! I hate hate hate girls that act like this!!! I am a very open person so a good amount of my close friends know, and a few girls (that my guy friends bring over) just sit there and shake their head and ask why would you do that...??? I feel so dam sexy with my boobs, and I don't regret anything...now what don't they compare it to something like " Oh, why do you want braces, you don't want straight teeth for confidence do you? That's so superficial of you, all you care about is how you look"...I'm not into myself, but I do love feeling sexy, and I think every women does!
