Question 32B to 36D

Hello ladies. I was wondering if it's possible to go from a 32B to a 36D or if I am going to be stuck going to a 32D because of my current band size? If the later is true then I guess I should go up to a 32DD so that my sister size would be a 34D. I don't want to go to a 32D because then my sister size would be a 34C and I definitely want to look look bigger than a C cup, but not too big. I hope that wasn't too confusing.

Going from a 32B to a 36D would be like going to a 32DDD. So you would have the same breast volume as a 36D, but still wear a 32 band size, the sister sizing you described. The volume of the cup is not always the same, it varies based on band size. Your best bet is to look fir pics that have the breast volume that you want. This is just my opinion, but I think if you'd like the look of a 36D in volume that around a 400-450cc implant will get you there. That's just my opinion of course.

~Wow now that I go back and read my response I hope that I made sense too.

Generally, you keep the same band size...unless you can't find the bra in your band size, so many girls will go up in band size so they can still get that bra style that they want. Like VS, is a good example because they don't carry above a DD, so many girls will go a size or two up in band so they can still get the cute bras.

I am a 32DD but I am not able to wear a 34D because the bad is always to big for me. The bra that fits be best is a 30DDD but that is hard to find so I just wear 32 band. Why do you want to be a 36DD?

Originally I wanted to be a full C (i.e. a 36 C), but then I was reading how breast implants are actually smaller than a real 36C, so I've been thinking that I should go up to a D cup.

I was looking at some photos and I like how a 36D looks, so I'm now considering a 36D. However, I'm not sure if a 36D will look too big on me, since I'm naturally a 32B (I'm 5'6"). My band size is narrow, as I'm never able to wear a strapless dress (even if its an XS/0) without it starting to slide down.

I have a friend who is naturally a 32DD and she has a really hard time finding bras. So I would prefer to go up to a 34D, however I just don't want to make the mistake of going too small. Since I guess a 34D looks more like a C cup in implants, which is why I'm now thinking I should go up to a 36D.

Wow, another confusing post.

Why do you keep going up on your band size? You're going up 2 additional band sizes....I don't know how well the bra will fit you if you do that. 34DD's are pretty common and simple to find even. 32DD's aren't difficult either to find. It's best to match you size wear what fits you best otherwise it might not fit you correctly, JMO.

Well I wasn't sure if it was possible. I've looked at some people's posts and they've gone up a band size and I wasn't sure if that was do to the breast implant or something else. I figured if it was possible to go up a band size do to a breast implant then I would want to go up to a 36C or 36D because I've looked at photos and I like how some girls look at that size. So I guess I'll be stuck going with a 32 band size. I'm just trying to determine what implant size to get. A 32D is really about a 34C, so I should probably go up to a 32DD if I want to have the same volume as a 34D.

I would think going to a 36 would be uncomfortable. I am a 34 and can wear some 36's, but sometimes they just don't work. It seems they just don't sit right.

Thanks for all of the replies. I now have a better idea of what size I should go for.
