Has anyone on here had a slow leak from a saline implant????? I have noticed in the last few weeks that my right one seems to be getting smaller. I measured them and it is an inch smaller. I go see my PS on Sept 8........ I am about 4 months out. I so hope that it's not that, I hope I don't have to have surgery again........I would love to hear your thought on this....THANKS SO MUCH LADIES !!!!

I posted this in the private discussion before by accident .....THANK SO MUCH

I thought I did because after breastfeeding I noticed my right was smaller. I did some research on it and with a slow leak it would be deflated within a week at the most and mine has been like this for months. So its probably nothing. Did you PS add extra to that side to even you out if you were a little smaller on the right?

I have not had my BA yet. But I have a good friend who has saline. In the first month one of hers had a slow leak. It was fixed free of charge because it was faulty. She was lucky it was a faulty implant, because she had not paid for the extended warranty. She bought it when she had her implant replaced. Good luck. Keep us posted.

I am so sorry to hear that angel1217.

I can only imagine how you feel but judging from what I have read I think if it was leaking it would have deflated pretty quickly?

This is what is scaring me off Saline, it seems a fair few people have issues with their Salines - I even saw a girls Saline implant had popped :O

I am not so worried with rippling (as I have quite a bit of tissue already to cover) but the rupturing/leaking, etc is really scary.

I hope it is nothing in your case!!! Keep us posted!! x

Oh no !!! I hope its not leaking. I have heard of slow leaks though. It's prob best just to get your PS to take a look.

That's why I'm leaning more towards silicone.

I had a slow leak in my implant that I noticed on July 4th. My left implant originally had 475 cc's and when I had my revision on August 11th, my PS measured over 200 cc's of saline still inside my implant. So... a slow leak can occur over time.

As I look back, I had slowly noticed the size decreasing, mostly in the upper pole area. When I finally realized it was leaking was after a night of sleeping on my stomach. Probably the weight from my body caused more saline to leak out.

Although you could have a leak, it could also be your breasts changing and still settling from the surgery. After my first b-a, my boobs changed a lot over the first year.
