![]() | Anybody else pleasanlty surprised about STILL fitting into most of their clothes?
Hi Ladies, Months ago I bought an amazing blue dress. Not an evening dress - it's something I can easily wear to the office and look completely appropriate and elegant (the front is covered, so there's ot inappropriate-for-work skin exposure). The design is not baggy, not tight, but just right. I was 100% positive I won't come even close to fitting into it after my 800's. There was just no way - the top seemed to fit my natural breasts without leaving any obvious extra room, and the fabric isn't very stretchy. I was sad at the prospect of letting it go because it's really stylish and very "me", but having fuller breasts was more important to me in the end - after all, I can always buy new dresses, right? ![]() Well, fast-forward to this morning - I pulled the dress off the hanger and decided to *try* to put it on just out of curiosity... IT FIT! And not in a hey-boys-check-out-my-juggs way, but in a very proportionate way. I already loved the dress pre-op, and now I'm madly in love with it post-op! Putting it on again was truly an amazing experience, and it got me wondering if anyone else experienced this? Do you have some items of clothing you already loved wearing pre-op, yet felt there's no way you'd be able to pull them off after you BA, and then suddenly fitting into them better than you ever imagined? I was ready to change my style to accomodate my new boobs, but so far it seems it's not even necessary.

You look great! I haven't seen many avatars in clothing that conceals. I would never have guessed you got 800's by your pics. I am giving my daughter all of my small scrub tops since they fit her better. But as far as my daily wardrobe....I'm going for the 'honey nothing fit's now' excuse so I can upgrade! Take care and keep those pics up for the new gals. It will help many more JBI newbies

I tried on a couple of my old tops and some look better, some are too small, and some make my boobs look too big and me top heavy. I think depending on how much you want to show at what point and time, picking the right top is important. Although I still fit into most of my old tops, I think I need to buy some more tops that I can hide my boobs from not being so big as when I'm going to work or school. My boobs look big under clothing and in a bikini, but I've found that I can find shirts that can make my implants look smaller in a good way. I got a what I thought is small implant size but with me being so short my small implants are measuring about a D cup right now, but not sure if they will stay this size or get bigger or smaller.

Jeeze I hope this happens, I hardly have any clothes! I threw them all away because they were too big. After the boobs it's time to build

I completely agree, im only 4 weeks out and still dropping and fluffing, Ive gone from a 34C to a 34G/H in bra sizes, yet still look natural with clothes on. Im really suprised that some of my old clothes still fit, they just fit a little "better" and I look "firmer" I LOVE IT!!!. I went back to work and no one seems to even notice the difference, they just say I lost weight, prob because my body looks smaller from the impnats on top, who knows! lol

Oh heck yes!!! I have so many tops, dresses, sweaters, halters, dressy, formal, and just plain casual clothes that I'm so glad I kept, knowing someday I'd fill them all out the way they should look. I was always sad that I had such nice clothes, and a good mix of styles, yet they wouldn't look like "me." I have a couple dresses in mind that I'm dying to try out when I'm back home post-op! It's going to be like a whole new wardrobe to me!! Little_Fox, I'm so happy for you! Oh, I'm sure you are just rocking that blue dress like nobody's business!!! | |

Oh yeah, I lost some weight before my augmentation and that made many of my clothes too big. I almost threw them away. Now I'm glad I didn't as many of them look even better on me than before!! I have foud some lovely dresses and felt so good about how they feel and look knowing before my breast augmentation there was no chance to even think them fit. But yeah, new as well as the old clothes look much better on me now! |

That's awesome that you still have things to wear, and that your clothes actually look even better on you now! Woo! I agree though - you should use this as your excuse to buy even more new, fabulous clothes! |

I definitely have had to leave some clothing behind where accommodating the bust was concerned, but I've been really lucky to shrink the rest of me with weight loss/MM... I'm actually wearing some of my daughter's clothes from high school (feel somewhat guilty, because she doesn't even fit them). I'm actually having a lot of fun looking for new stuff... my husband is too, he loves looking for stuff online now. |

I too was surprised that I fit into my clothes. At first I was ticked off but then I realized they only looked better because they were filled out. |

I'm so glad to hear this! My BA is still a month out but I've been wondering how I am gonna afford all new clothes after blowing all my money on boobies. My fiance always complains about how much closet space I take up he is always saying "I have never seen you wear this, why are you keeping it" and my response is "I dont wear it now cuz my boobs dont do it justice! Once they are huge I'll wear it!" Glad to know that its true!

I was actually horrified to still be able to fit into a lot of my old clothes. Half the fun is going shopping and trying on stuff and getting new clothes!

I'm actually happy to hear this. I was worried that after spending so much on ba that I would have to spend more money and get a bunch of new clothes. I look forward to adding new items, especially lingerie.

I guess I wasn't to surprised to fit into most of my clothes cause everything I own / bought fit over my padded bras lol...and my new boobies are just a tad bigger then what they looked when I wore a padded bra :-)
