I hate to see animosity floating around like this....don't we have enough prejudice, stereotyping and ignorance around us trying to suffocate us because we are all in a certain "club" together as it is? I'm getting 750 cc next Thursday from 450 cc. My plastic surgeon overfills them by 10% so I'll be in the very low 800 cc. That's not too far off from your size (200 cc, I think?). I like the look of bigger implants as well. Some women have implants with less cc and they somehow look bigger than someone who has double the size. I guess it's all in the anatomy of the person. Yes, you are large (your chest, I mean), but I really find that the look suits you quite well.

I really think "numbers" sometimes scare people. Including me! 800 cc here I come.

Life would also be quite boring if we were all the same and had all the same opinions. "Vive la différence!"

You should choose whatever size to be that you desire. Not what some (usually male) doctor aesthetically thinks you should be. And definitely not what other people make you think you should be due to norms of behaviour. That is a sheep.

but i think i am confortable with that choice...i like myself right now...i just want a little cleavage!! When i see women with big breast...i find it nice..beautiful! but i know it is not for me...not because what others think...but what i feel confortable in!!

I wouldn't get such large implants myself, but if its what you want then you should go for it. I read the thread and i dont think anyone was trying to belittle or attack you, i think it was just out of concern.

Also, in regards to doctors limiting what size a patient should get or telling them what size they should get...I don't think it has anything to do with their aesthetic opinion...I think it is a fact that some surgeons do not think that it is medically sound or ethical to operate with such large implants...i don't think they won't do it because they don't think it will look good...I think it has more to do with what the calculated risk is for the patient having the surgery...some surgeons just do not think its worth the risk and i dont think there is anything wrong with a surgeon not wanting to operate on a patient seeking larger than average implants. I guess that is why there are surgeons who specialize in large implants-because there is a market for them, but it is a small niche of people.

Cara- first off I want to say that you looked great Pre BA, You look fantastic Post BA and You will look incredible if you even go bigger! I admire you for the balls (per say) to do it I wish I could go that big but my frame would not allow it. You will look beautiful and I say whatever size makes you happy....who cares what ANYONE else thinks. It is your body and it is between you and your surgeon and no one else Ok- thats my 2 cents...

I just wanted to say that I think you look amazing!!!! I am hoping to go bigger in the future and its women like you who encourage the women on here who DO want to have big implants to do what THEY want for themselves.

Cara - I was very careful in my post to firstly explain that i respect your opinion, your right to choose etc.

But if you post in a forum you need to be prepared that some people arent going to agree with you. And this is life.

You have become very defensive in your reply, which i feel was totally un-necessary. You are entitled to post, and I am entitled to reply, that is the point of a forum.

I am not on any soapbox, i have not knocked your down for your choices or belittled you personally. Had i come on here and said you look ridiculous, you are a stupid for going so big or you look like a pornstar, I could totally understand how you could make such a sweeping statement. But i have said none of these hurtful things that a narrow minded person might say. I have very carefully given my opinion in a considered and respectful way.

As some of the girls have said, i wasnt calling you crazy. If you are genuinely happy with your choice you should be able to accept good and bad comments and not care, because YOU are happy. This is true happiness and even if someone did rudely attack you, it would not matter, because you are comfortable with the choices you have made.

I think you have been very unfair in your response to me and very quick to jump to conclusions.

This board is successful because we do allow each other to voice our opinions in a fair manner, even if we do not agree. If you dont want to hear from the other side of the fence, put a disclaimer of some sort on your thread...

But i think the best option is to listen to all the voices, hear the positives and the negatives and realise that you dont have to agree, or even like what they say.

While I DO hear what you're sayin' Kat, to be fair she didn't start this thread asking for opinions on her size choice. She merely asked if there were any other women on the site with similar size goals, and to say her choice, in your opinion, "..is crazy" isn't my version of respectful.

I really hate to perpetuate or prolong drama, as I LOVE the fact that this board is pretty free of it, (til someone with over 1000cc's comes on, and yet manages to pull the most views per thread, lol), but I felt the need to speak up because I know she has a point about women with larger implants feeling too judged to post on sites like this, and I think that's a shame and would like to see it change. I have personally emailed with several women that fall into that category.

thanks yellow! I just think it's bad enough that I have to hide the fact that I even had this surgery from half the people in my life, b/c I don't want to deal with their ignorance on the subject of boob jobs, of all places we should NOT have to explain ourselves here.
I know alot of people are like, why do you have to hide it, who cares what people say, but we have all at least had reluctance to tell someone for fear of their reaction. And look what happened here, in the one place, I feel at least, that we should feel safe to say whatever about our boobs, one person has been made to feel really bad about herself. whether that was the intention or not. not everyone has to agree with what cara is planning, but it is her life, and her body, and she did not ask anyone's opinion. You want to have a different opinion on a book or movie or what we like to wear, I don't think anyone will get hurt over that, but to questions someones desicion on their boobs, which is how we all got here in the first place is just like all the people out there that don't understand why we had the surgery in the first place. We aren't discussing "sites like this". I could care less about other "sites". I think if people look at the posts in this thread, on this forum, they'll see that the overwhelming majority of women that have posted in this thread supported Cara (whether they agree or not), so there's no need for anyone to be offended just b/c someone posts and doesn't share the exact same opinion as everyone else. And just b/c someone doesn't have the same opinion as the majority, doesn't mean that they're judging other people harshly. There isn't going to be a change in the fact that not everyone will always have the same opinion, and I will never tell someone with a differing opinion to not post.
