Large Breast Implants This forum will be for discussing implants that are 700cc or larger. Although 700cc may not seem large to some, they are, generally, considered a larger size.

Saline vs. Silicone with large implants?

Most of the doctors I have seen have recommended saline for my redo since I have some breast tissue to cover and my current salines feel completely natural. However, I have recently seen some *movies* (naughty me) and really like how the larger silicone implants look and bounce.

Just wondering if girls with large (600+) saline implants find them to be much firmer compared to the smaller sized saline implants. Some of the girls I've seen have huge breasts (obviously fake), but they move and squish like real breasts.

Now I'm thinking I'll go with silicone, even though I have been happy for the last 13 years with saline (but a much smaller size). Decisions, decisions...

I'm also considering saline and am curious because you said that you have had it for 13 years ... did you ever have a deflation in that time period? Just curious, am leaning towards saline (I have Tuberous breasts, but a mild case, so I have enough breast tissue to easily go from a B to a D, which is what I want, but I am also very apprehensive that they will feel like 'robot tits' haha and totally unnatural and you can feel the valve or something).

Also curious about deflations. It seems like everyone is scared of these so they go for the silicone ... ?

I started with alot of my own tissue too, and I have to say that mine feel very natural and squishy too. Most of my friends touch and can't even tell I have an implant in esp. a saline implant. I say if it's not broke, don't fix it. If your happy with your salines, stick with them. The thought of silicone just scares me a little too much to take that risk.

I do hair, so I'm OCD with using blonde toners, because it prevents over bleaching and saves your hair because the violet base tones out the orange. I touch up my roots with V-light lightener product & developer, then use a 10V Matrix Color Sync (toner) after I rinse the bleach off my roots and let the toner sit for about 15 minutes. I color the bottom part with 4RB & 5RB of Shades EQ mixed equal parts.

oh..and I use a toning purple/blue color shampoo called "so silver" by matrix (sold at most salons) twice a week to brighten the blonde...I don't use it too much because it will dry your hair out. You can mix alittle in with your normal shampoo too if you want to use it everyday.

How often do you bleach your hair? Just curious, because it looks soft My hair is naturally dark brownish black, so when I go lighter, it is very hard to keep it that way.

I kind of wanted to "update" my hair before my surgery (go blonder! My surgery is June 30th. My hair right now is probably one shade darker than yours, but would LOVE it to be your color.)

Can you buy those toners anywhere, or would you say you HAVE to go to a salon to pick them up? Not a big deal, but I have often had trouble finding toners.

Ha, sorry to completely change the subject in this thread!!

PS - damn girl, you're sexy!! Gah, I love the photo of you with the red panties ... I am getting more and more excited about my breast augmentation date getting closer and closer and hope to have wondrous boobies like you! (though probably going smaller, haha. I'm 5'11'' and getting 500-600ccs. THOUGH I have yet to do some sizers, so who knows what I will choose!!)

Thanks! It is really soft! When I touch it up, I only put the bleach lightener on my roots only, then put the toner on my whole head. You have to be licensed to purchase the products I use unless you take the colors to your stylist and ask for them. You can't buy them at sallys or any other store. Only at stores where you show your license.

I started with 400/450 saline 1st breast augmentation, then went to 600/650 silicone second breast augmentation, both unders. I did not see much firmness diference based on looks but the silicones are much softer to the touch. I am going with 750/800 silicones next week. I chose to stay with the silicones because of the look and feel where more natural and that is what I want. BTW the first was MOD the second and third are HP.

I have had my salines over 13 years too. The capsule is firmer on the left and has cc. the right one is super soft and bounces. I want to get larger silicones as well.

Thanks ladies for the input! I am really thinking of going with silicone, although I am still a little concerned with health issues down the road.

However, I feel like if I'm going this large, I want to make sure I have the least chance of rippling, hardness, etc. Even though I've never had issues like these with my salines, my little baby salines are probably so small that my body barely notices them.

Now I just have to continue with the rice tests to see what size looks best. I'm thinking it will be around 700. If I go with 700 in silicone, will it look about the same as 650 in saline? I thought I read that silicone looks smaller (at least under the muscle)?

I actually really like my salines and know they feel very natural. I did have a deflation in 2001, I had just given birth to my first child and the lactation consultant was a little too rough. I had to wait until I was done breast feeding for at least a few weeks before getting a redo. I stayed about the same size. They felt very natural before, and after.

I would not worry about *robot boobs*, lol! I never had an issue with feeling the valve, rippling, extra firmness, etc.
