Large Breast Implants This forum will be for discussing implants that are 700cc or larger. Although 700cc may not seem large to some, they are, generally, considered a larger size.

I need your help about my future breast implants

Hello Ladies!
I am looking into getting breast implants in the next few weeks. I am 5'4" 140 lbs and I am currently wearing a 34D push up style bra. I have lost about 30 lbs in the past few months so my breasts are a little saggy and there is definetely a lot of room to grow I used to be a very full 34DD and I want to get back to that size.
I have been to a few PS and they all tell me different things. I am not sure if I should go over or under the muscle. I am thinking of a 800 cc implant to fill the breast tissue I already have. Do any of you have anything that you can help me out with? I guess I am wondering:
1. because I already have so much breast tissue although it is sagging a little, should I have the implants placed over or under? Would one be better to lift my breast over another?
2. would 800 cc be too much? the PS said that I needed at least 600 cc to fill my breast tissue.
3. Which incision would be better for such a large implant?
4. Should i have my ps do a lowering of the fold?
5. How long should I realistically take off work?
I would love to hear back from some of you guys.
Thank you so much!

bebby will become famous soon enough
Hi and welcome to JBI!
Congratulations on your weight loss and wishing you well on your upcoming breast augmentation!
Depending on how much sagging you have - a breast lift may be the way to go aswell?
If you have found yourself a PS and you are happy with him/her - then the recommendations from them should be considered.... You say they have all told you something different - What were you questions?
Do you have any pics to share with us?
I have only ever had unders and crease incision but an Aerola I certainly would have considered - had it been offered for my last breast augmentation....
How much time off work are you allowed to take...
Sorry for all my questions to you - I should be answering yours but it would be helpful for you aswell , when we have a little more to go on...
I hope to chat with you soon, till then take care - bebby

Hello Ladies!~
Thank you for responding. I have been to 3 different PS because I wanted to make sure I was making the correct decision. All of them told me that later in life, i will need a lift but as of right now, my breasts could be corrected with a large implant around 600 cc. 2 of them told me that under the muscle is much better and one said that i should have it over the muscle since I already have so much breast tissue. He also said that when you go with a large implant, the implant won't fit under the muscle so it should definately be over.
Now according to the incisions, I wanted mine through the armpit but I don't think that the PS I am considering going to, does a lot of them so that makes me a little worried. But I want this experience to be a good one.
I will try posting a picture tonight.

Before my breast augmentation's I started out as a natural 36D. Different doctors told me not to get unders because I would more than likely get double bubble because of the ample amount of breast tissue that I was already starting out with. So I have overs, which was recommended to me by every doctor that I consulted with.

I started out with a lot of sag too and was advised to get a lift. So I got a small lift along with large implants with my first breast augmentation. The small lift didn't do much for me so I'll be going back for a full lift soon. But if you were told that you can get away with just a large implant with no lift, then just try that. You can always get a lift later on down the road if you don't want to get one right now (or if you don't need one right now).

Anyway, good luck to you.

Hello PBG.
Thank you for responding to my post. I am so confused! It is so hard to make decisions like these... I just want to make sure I get the correct procedure for me. Starting out with this amount of breast tissue, it makes it so much harder to decide. I am glad the overs worked well for you. 2 out of the 3 ps i saw, told me i should go under the muscle. So, maybe I should listen to them. What makes me so confused is that I have read on the internet that if you start with a lot of breast tissue, you should go over. So... it just got me really confused....
Thank you so much though...

Smile

I left it up to my PS . He tryed on sizers during to breast augmentation to determine the exact size on my redo ..... he selected 600cc. Origional breast augmentation was 26 years ago and I was not sure of the exact size that was used at that time. Redo was 1/21/10.
I was a 34D now I'm a full 34DD...skin is filled in but not stretched out.
My origional girls were silicone overs and I went with Mentor Selicone gell HP overs. I talked to my PS about a lift but the decision was not to do it.... I'm happy with the results.

Hi we have almost the same stats.I am getting my breast augmentation in March and right now I am a 36d with some sag. I am getting mine placed under my arm. I thought that I was going to get unders but my PS told me that he would not do unders on me because of double bubble. So I am getting Sub Fascia. He said he was positive that I would not get double bubble... I guess we will see. He also said that with the size I am getting that he didn't think that I would need a lift right now, but more than likely I would be back in a few years for one becuase of the size and weight of my large implant. That works for me, if I can avoid a lift I will, but when I end up needing one I will get one. On the work thing, I guess it would depend on what kind of job you have. I am a stay at home mom, but he said that I can't pick up my 5 month old baby for two weeks. After that I am good to go. Good Luck!
