are ripples unavoidable

this question is more aimed at girls who have salines. if u only have a small amount of breast tissue and get larger salines is it pretty much certain u will have rippling. i have some breast tissue but virtually none in the upper pole area, would that mean the upper pole area would be more likely to ripple. thanks

My ps said that the rippling is more noticeable on the sides of your breast when you have saline implants, especially when you bend over. Some women here had had their saline implants "overfilled" where they actually add more saline to the implant which I think would probably help reduce that rippling effect and add to the implant volume at the same time.

I've had 3 breast augmentation's and have had rippling with each set. I'm thinned skin and had little breast tissue. I had the most rippling with my 1st set. With each redo I got bigger implants and overfilled more each time hoping to minimize the ripples. My ps offered sils with my 1st redo but I declined because they were banned at the time but I could still get them because of the rippling (they considered it a complication). Anyhow, I still have ripples but the are not as bad with the overfill I have now, I do plan on another breast augmentation in the future. I would love to have custom sils in the 1000cc range but if I can't get those I will go with 800cc mod+ salines filled to 1000cc+.

was the rippling just at the sides. and could u see it all the time and in ur opinion do u think the overfilling reduces them.

I ended up getting silicone, but when I was thinking of saline, my PS suggested deciding what size I wanted with sizers, then get a smaller implant that would be overfilled (to the max) to the end size I wanted to prevent rippling. Good luck!
