| Large Breast Implants This forum will be for discussing implants that are 700cc or larger. Although 700cc may not seem large to some, they are, generally, considered a larger size. |

![]() | Going on 40, wanting 700's
Hello, all. I'm new here, and I've been reading so many of your wonderful posts in anticipation of my upcoming BA. I finally decided to post something myself since I'm roughly 5 weeks out from surgery. Here are my questions: 1. Like you, I have boobie greed and want 700cc implants. I already had one surgery in 1995 (went from A to C), but after having two kids and the passage of time, my body has changed. I purchased 500, 600 and 700cc sizers which should be here any day so I'll know generally how I will look. But I am 39 years old, and I'm curious if anyone here has chosen larger girls while in her 40s. Are there any drawbacks to having larger implants in this age range? 2. I am also seriously considering having a tummy tuck. It's time for a mommy makeover. Has anyone else here done these two surgeries at the same time? If so, what was your experience? While I'm at it, how accurate are the sizers? I ordered Purlz sizers from lwgatz.com if that makes a difference to anyone. Thanks so much. Go for it!! I have 700 and I love them. I dont see how your age has anything to do with it, in fact I will go even bigger when I get older, AND I'll get that mommy makeover when the time comes!!

A hair under 40 and just got 630's overfilled to 750 and wish I had done it sooner,LOL!!! The sizers actually looked bigger and had alot more projection than the actual implants! So if you are happy with the sizers go a bit more CC's...just my opinion! JUST DO IT....you will LOVE it! Destiny

I got mine when I was 40. I'm 46 now. I don't think it matters as long as you're healthy. I mean heck, think about it... there are plenty of naturally big boobed women over 40, and nobody thinks twice about that

![]() | Update: Well, I received the sizers today and instantly put the 700s in the sports bra that came with them. Wow! I was disappointed. It looked like I only went up from a small D to maybe DD. I walked by my husband in the hall and he didn't even notice. I had to tell him. We went into the bathroom to look in the mirror, and his question was, "Are those sizers accurate?" Neither of us knows, so I'm guessing I'll just have to wait until I meet with the surgeon next week. The product is nice as far as quality, and it may be totally accurate. If it is, I'm absolutely sure I want to go 800-900. Any thoughts? Is this typical? ![]() | Good for you!! I had my first BA when I was 43 and the second when I was 44. I'm 46 now and saving for a third. Hopefully soon. I have 900's now and they are a pleasure to have. Sometimes they get a bit heavy but with regular exercise I keep my back strong. On Dr. Pousti's website is a picture of a 71 year old who got 1800's. I guess by that age it doesn't really matter how big they are as long as you can have them.Don't be scared to experiment with the sizers. Go for the size you want and feel comfortable with first and then later calculate how many cc's will give you what you want. The cc amount is not the issue, how YOU look and feel is the real issue. You go get what YOU want. Good luck and keep us booby girls up to date with you progress. Also try rice sizers to experiment with

Today I met with the surgeon, or at least the doctor who I thought was going to be my surgeon. I took my husband along to ask any questions that might concern him, but I had plenty of questions of my own. The surgeon talked to me about both the BA and tummy tuck that I want and everything seemed fine. He finally asked about my intended size, so I mentioned the sizers I had used to try to see how larger breasts would appear on me. I said I wanted a nice increase over my current size. He told me he assumes I have 350cc implants right now (I can't remember since it has been so long since my original BA) and that he wouldn't go above 450 under any circumstances. He said specifically, "There are other surgeons who will do that type of augmentation, but I won't have anything to do with them." He further stated that he wasn't making any judgments about me and that I could look elsewhere if I still intended to have larger implants. Judgments? I sat there stunned. Basically 450's would assure that I have full Ds (currently a small D or large C depending on the bra), but there's no way I'm going through surgery to go up just a tiny bit from what I've already got. What's the point. Needless to say I felt awful when we left his office. My hubby said that I could find another surgeon, and I hope that's the case. The doctor came highly-recommended and I assumed he would be the man to do the job. I'm not sure what to do next or who to contact other than breaking open the yellow pages or searching for plastic surgeons online. That seems a lot like guessing to me without input from other local women who have had larger implants. I need a surgeon in Lexington, KY (possibly Louisville or Cincinnati) who will do large implants, and I feel lost and frustrated. What a letdown. If anyone has any feedback on how I might proceed at this point, I would be grateful. ![]() ![]() | Did he offer an explanation of why he wouldn't go above 450cc's? Sometimes there are legitimate reasons for not going as big as a patient would like, such as skin elasticity, BWD, etc..., and then there are those surgeons that just won't go above a certain amount of cc's due to their personal aesthetic. I would want to know if he saw something in your anatomy/skin that told him you weren't a good candidate for larger implants, or if he just doesn't "approve" of them aesthetically/ethically. I went on 5 consults, and the 1st one was with a very experienced, well reviewed plastic surgeon who wouldn't go above 350cc's on me. He said the same thing..."if you want bigger than that, then I'm the wrong surgeon for you." I admired his ethics, sticking to his guns over making $$$ off of me, but the other 4 all said I could go to the size I have now because they'd gotten that big before, from pregnancy/nursing. I would call and ask why he said that, and then schedule at least 3 more consults to see if there's a consensus about size limitations for your body. Google "plastic surgery town you want" and pour over the results to find surgeons that have lots of experience, are board certified in plastic surgery, and choose 3 - 5 to consult with. Once you've had the consults, decide which you're really leaning towards, and check on their background, certifications, disciplinary actions if any, etc... There are some good links on this page: http://plasticsurgery.about.com/lr/c...geon/449485/2/ HTH

Just hang in there girl. This isn't the first dissapointment and it won't be the last. Keep going until YOU get what YOU want. Obviously if there is some medical condition that limits the size you can go you have to consider that, but if you are not aware of anything "wrong" with you then you keep on trying and consulting until you find a surgeon who is willing to give you what you want. In the process you will learn a lot and be so much the wizer anyway. DON'T GIVE UP AT THE FIRST SIGN OF OPPOSITION OR RESISTANCE. BEAUTIFUL BIG BOOBS AREN'T CREATED DURING ONE FIRST CONSULT. Keep on until you reach![]() Good Luck and keep us updated!!!

I am over 40 and I had my first BA last December and am hoping for BA #2 this January, hoping for at least 700 myself. Nothing wrong with wanting it, you know your mind and your body. Go for it! Eventually you will find a surgeon to help you out!

he probably is a great plastic surgeon but if he hasnt had much experience with large implants then he wouldnt be the plastic surgeon for u. id prefer to go to a plastic surgeon who had done plenty of large BA. i went on a consult with an excellent plastic surgeon but he said he rarely put in over 350cc .when i told him i wanted to go fairly large and would it fit my body his response was "just because it can be done doesnt mean it should be done". Another plastic surgeon said to me "i dont do the pammy anderson look" at the end of the day its ur money and ur body. im sure u will find a great plastic surgeon who will give u the look u want
