Large Breast Implants This forum will be for discussing implants that are 700cc or larger. Although 700cc may not seem large to some, they are, generally, considered a larger size.

How long have you had larger implants??

I have 575/625cc implants and I do love them, but want to go a little bigger. But every surgeon I go to says that you cannot sustain large breast implants for very long. I want to be able to have larger breasts for as long as I possibly can, as I love them.

Just wondering what your ladies thoughts are on this? Seen as you are the ones who live with them and have the experience. It has got me down a little, thinking that I can only have large breasts for a short time after going through 2 surgeries etc.

Any input from you guys would be most appreciated!

xx

Hello there,
I've had breast implants for 11 yrs and 600cc and above for 8 yrs. I've had no problems except rippling. I also hope to go even larger in the future! I believe everyone is different and some women just decide they don't want large breast anymore its ussually not that they can't sustain them, they just don't like them anymore. I wouldn't let any ps talk you out of your desire for larger breast they are not the ones who have to sustain them anyway,lol.... I say go for it sweety!!!!

Thank you so much for your reply! That is really reassuring, as you look fantastic! I agree, maybe, some time in the future I may opt for smaller implants, but for now I am happy being larger and want to keep it this way!!!

I have had saline implants for 14 years. These are my second set my first was not big enough. I have ripples and a bit of cc which I work on daily. I want to redo soon. Get them the size you really want. You wont be dissapointed. You get used to them very quickly. Good luck

I have been super sized for about 6 years now (redo from 475 cc's to 790) and no complaints except I wanna be bigger.
I think every ps has their own opinion and they try to force that on you.
Get whatever you want or get a 2nd opinion w another ps and see what they say.
Hope this helps
Steph

I'll be having my 2-year boobieversary in late March, so not that long.

I wonder why he would say you couldn't sustain them? Does he mean the weight of the implant, that you would get tired of carrying it around? Or tired of the look? Or that they would sag sooner and you would not like the look? Sounds strange to me.

Basically he said that anyone who has larger implants pays a price in terms of thinned tissue later on will have to have reconstructive surgery that is more complex and more risky. He believes it is inevitable that a larger implant (anything above 300cc) will thin out the tissue and will simply not be a long term result. He is not the surgeon that did my recent surgery, it is another guys opinion. But I see my surgeon very soon, so I will look forward to his opinion. I would love to go bigger, but of course hearing this it really scared me.

But it is so good to hear women who have had their implants for 6, 12, 14 years and they have been happy with them during that time. I believe we have the right to feel confident about our bodies and I think scare stories like this are really disheartening. I will always make well informed decisions, but I do wonder sometimes whether these horror stories are very rare and there are women who live happily with large beautiful breasts for many years!

Thanks to everyone for their input on this subject.

I say go bigger if you want! If he said anything above 300 is hard to sustain, well then you clearly are already taking that risk. I know my PS said anything above 600 will sag quicker, but I know that wouldn't stop me. I definitely want go to around 650 next time. As long as you're financially prepared to have another surgery if they get saggy (which even natural breasts do over time!) then I say why not go for it. But be realistic about having a harder time find clothes and possible back pain in the future. Like you said, you can always decide to go smaller again.

I would definitely get a second opinion. I don't see why you couldn't, but then too, I am not a surgeon.

I have 700s and definitely plan on going bigger in the near future. They are a bit heavy, not much, but if you have good bra support it's not noticeable.

I love em'!

Good luck!
