Question 12.5 weeks post FTT op- what have I done?

I had my FTT with muscle repair 12.5 weeks ago. I have started doing cardio (bike) 2 weeks ago but otherwise I haven't really done much other forms of exercise (yet)
Today I walked around the city, including loads of stairs and then walked a fair distance to the train station, much more exercise than I have done since having my surgery.
Tonight I am in pain, lots of pain.. My incision feels like it has reopened underneath my skin, it's only on my right side but gee it hurts.
Has anyone else had anything like this happen 12 weeks post op?
Hopefully I haven't done any damage :?:

umm,, thats strange you should be ok, did you rest plenty during your recovery time ? the only thing i can think of is perhaps your healing was slower if you didnt rest well, im sure you did though..
i know when i started my cardio again i felt jabbing pains so i stopped for a bit.
maybe rest up and try to avoid doing anything sort of strenous even walking up stairs for the next few days,
my incision line also felt tender for a while with underwires, up until about the 3rd month, could it be that pain? how does the incision look?
i must say though i had this weird pulling sort of pain in my lefty, i still dont know whatit was i put it down to just healing, maybe you have some healing pain, then again i wouldnt know how strong the pain is..
hmm, id probably go to your ps just to be safe lovely.
goodluck! im sure you are totally fine
im sure everythings ok just keep an eye out and take it reallll easy luv.

wow 12.5 weeks seems more than appropriate time frame...did you call your PS? maybe its just the soreness you get from working out for the first time or after not working out for a long time and maybe it just feels diff since you have implants now? i would call your doctor though for reals

At 12 weeks post op I was still wearing my binder when I went shopping and for housework and at the end of the day if I had been sitting for long periods. I was still swelling at the end of the day at 8 months post op. It took me a very long time to recover from FTT/MR/Lipo and breast lift and IMO you may have overdone it just a bit. Rest and take care x

Thanks ladies

I spoke to my nurse this morning and I have just over done it. I think it's a reminder that I still do need to wear some granny undies when I have a big day. It was so hot here yesterday so I thought going without it would be best.

Today my tummy is a little sore but not as sore as it was last night.

My nurse said whenever I have a big day have 2 resting days so my body can rest and recover..

Thanks for your replies xx

mgrocks will become famous soon enough
I know how you feel!!

I had surgery four months ago and know how you feel. My stomach still talks to me after a long day and I have been working out now. I think there are times I overdo it and my body talks to me about it. I have had to pull out the CG a few times here and there, and it helps. Glad I still have it but really don't like wearing it. Hang in there and know we are in the same boat.
