I'm an East Coast Girl who is having her first consultation on November 21st. I've been lurking here for a little while. I have to say, I have learned so much here, through all of you sharing your experiences. Thank you for being so giving and free with your experiences, it really helps ladies like me! I hope to be on this forum for a long time... I have so many questions and I'm actually scared to death, but looking forward to my surgery.

It seems we have a lot in common...age, size, etc. & I also have one child!

Best of luck with your decisions. For me, once I made the decision, it all became a lot less scary. Seems paradoxical, but true - for me at least!

This is a great place, and it will answer all of your questions (& then some), and make you feel like you are NOT crazy for wanting to do this.

I do look forward to learning a lot more here... I am still totally scared about doing this but I want it sooo bad!!!

It is so awesome to find a place where I am not judged for wanting to enhance my appearance. The first reaction of some people that I ran the idea by was "What are you trying to be, a slut or something?". I never thought that about anyone that had big boobs, because someday I wanted to have bigger boobs myself. Nope, I'm not shallow, just extremely self-conscious. I know a BA will make me feel more like a woman, sexier, confident, and all that stuff. My hubby loves me just the way I am (flat LOL) but he's supporting me in making this decision 100%.

I am ecstatic to have that one thing in common with all of you here!! YAY!!

I don't know how to 'thank' anyone, I see the 'received thanks in so many posts' things under the avatars but have no clue how to get them there. So anyway, thanks again
