Hey.

I had the same thing. It went away after about a week. It really bothered me, I thought it was bc I couldn't really move the first couple of days. It's gone now though and I am almost 2 weeks..and loving my boobies but missing the BF pampering lol...but, yeah it'll go away. I think it's due to the pain meds and such that we get on!

The belly bloat is totally normal - hated, but normal. ;-)

I'm almost a week out and my belly is s-l-o-w-l-y returning to normal......

I'm not sure what causes it, but at my first post-op (1 day after BA) I asked my PS about being bloated and he said it was normal.

I do know my body is all out of whack and I've been constipated some (TMI, I know!). Before my BA and after I was putting benefiber in my drinks, but that didn't seem to help --- I broke down and took a laxative a few days ago which still hasn't helped......I know a lot of the girls experience the same thing, and I wonder if that's part of the bloating issue .....

I'm so glad that I found this forum because I was complaining about being bloated and of course my husband says it's okay you look fine. I wanted to cry. I just got my BA yesterday and I noticed when I got home, "where did this stomach come from?". Then today, I was looking in the mirror and I wanted to faint. I was telling myself that I'm not going to sit and just eat. I have to exercise, go run or do something. I couldn't believe that I got my BA and now I have a gut. I couldn't believe it. But now I read this forum, and I feel so good. Thank you for posting this, now I can relax
