Erin there's a few of us from Vancouver---hottermama (Kari) went to Dr. Benjamin ******* and really liked him, canadiantattoo is from here too but I can't remember. Mine is Nancy Vanlaeken and she came highly recommended by two GPs and is even on the board of the UBC Board of Plastic Surgery but as far as I'm concerned, the jury's still out.

How much did it cost you for your ba? HOw long after your consult were you able to book your appointment? I cant wait to be able to get this done, but I probably wont be able to do it until March.

My consult was on Feb.11, 2006, then they were able to book me in two weeks later (due to a cancellation) otherwise i would have to have waited until April so I took it. For my silicone gels, paid about $7500. Why don't you want to see a plastic surgeon in Seattle?

ACtually Erin the more I think about it I can't in good conscience recommend my plastic surgeon. I have an appt with her on Thurs and if she doesn't do something about my boobs, I might have to do something drastic.

Well that is too bad that you are unhappy with your plastic surgeon. You had cc right and then you went in for a revison? I guess that didnt turn out good?

Well,I was thinking that I could get silicone cogels easier in Canada. Here i'd have to find a special doctor whos in one of the studies and I only now one who does the cogels. I figured out that it would be cheaper to drive to B.C. too. BUt I am still not sure what I will do. All I know is that i am set on getting silicone and I do not want saline. My DH says that I can only do this once and never go bigger then what I initaly decide on, so I want to make sure that I get what I want the first time. Or at least until I need a redo, but then again with the cogels you dont really need to worry about that, right?

Well you're certainly coming to the right place if you want silicone gels. I'm kinda disappointed in my plastic surgeon cause I feel that she should have caught my cc way before 6 months when I finally called her and I feel that she should have done a capsulectomy, not a capsulotomy because my breasts are still not right. I mean, $7500 is a lot of money....
We have GOT TO meet if you're coming here; we have accomodations for one if you need; we have a small place so I don't think we could offer more than that...

I"m sorry you are having such a hard time with your ba. Its definelty a lot of money to spend and have things not be right. so you had the capsulotomy done and now what? DO you just have to wait and see what happens. I hope it gets better for you. But we will definelty have to get together when I come up there. I'm not sure when It will be. I will let you know when I get the ball rolling.

I had heard great things about Dr. Pugash in New West & I don't even live in Vancouver (I live on the BC coast about 6 hours from there). Anyways to make a long story short I am having him do my BA 03/15/2007. Big Beautiful BC Group Hug.

Hi Erin, my plastic surgeon is Dr. Mosher. I know 5 people that have had ba's with him, all are very happy. My surgery is on the 16th, yeah!!! I am getting cohesive gels for $6485

Wow Lizzy that's a good price---mine was over $7500 at the False Creek Surgery Centre with Dr. VanLaeken. Good luck to you! plastic surgeon. Dr. Mosher was one of the plastic surgeon's i first considered!!

Went with Dr. K. Rai but had a consult with Dr. Carr - his waiting list / surgery availability was a bit too long. Happy with my decision, but I've seen Dr. Carr's work as well and heard great things!

I had a consult with Dr. Rai and he was very nice. But, I am not too sure about getting High Profiles because that is what he recommended. I have a consult with Dr. Benjamin ******* this week and I will see what he says. I heard the best plastic surgeon's in Vancouver are Dr. Warren and Dr. Ward, but their waiting list is over a year long! I can't wait that long, so I am checking out other surgeons.

I got in by asking them to put me on the waitinglist, I told them that I am ready to go in last minute if any cancelation happens!

So, im due soon!

Dr. Rai is good with liposculpt, but the boobs I personnaly found to not be to my likeing, my sister got liposculpt and a BA. The lipo was stunning, the BA I didnt like

I heared about Mosher and Pogash and ward. All of them are really good too I heared.

For the girl doing hers at False creek, I would suggest to see the Doctor through his/her own clinic, Its cheaper that way. False creek being a private clinic is paid if you go through them, paid from your pocket that is. I found seeing a doctor through their private clinic is best. They also more availble, where is they are only availble less times a week in an affiliated private clinic like False creek, so your chances in getting an apointment and quicker up on a waiting list is that way

mmmm that would have been good to know for me! I just had mine done June 2 at False Creek with Dr. Pugash... it's a really nice office though... I wonder how much less I could have paid...mmmm well good to know for next time (hopefully I won't need a next time for a long while!!)

I did see him, I want a natural look so he suggested the anatomical, silicon, under the muscle, crease incision. Full height Full profile in 425 ccs

im 5ft6
i wear 36 C now, i go down to 34 C/B when I lose a few pounds.

Im hoping to be a DD, maybe a full D when I lose pounds. (fingers crossed)
