Hi Sharon - I got your visitor message. I was not able to respond so hopefully you will get this message. I guess because I'm not an elite member. Once I do get that status I would love to join the body by cohen group. He is an awesome PS. My BA was one week before yours and I am doing great. I had some issues with my incision healing. Dr Cohen restitched my right incision on Aug 12th. Right now it is finally closed and all seems fine. Dr Cohen and his staff are amazing. They are all so nice. He ended up restitiching me during his lunch hour and Mary also came in the OR with me. (She is so sweet - I hope she is doing well after her back surgery) I hated being awake in the OR but it was great that she was in with me she made me feel more comfortable. Did everything go well with your BA. I'm sure it did because you used Dr Cohen also. So I'll keep posting so we can chat more. Thanks again for the message. Jennifer

I suppose the best way to communicate is to post right here on this Dr. Robert Cohen thread. I don't think this is an infraction of the forum rules, right?

Jennifer, Dr. Cohen called my recovery 'textbook', meaning I was the average patient with no complications. I was discharged at my 6 week appointment. I was so sad to say goodbye to Mary & Tonja! I thought that I should find some plastic surgery excuse to keep continuing to see Dr. Cohen-like fix 2 scars that I had since age 6 & 9! Lol! I am very happy with my new look. For a few week, I was semi-depressed because I thought I looked too big. But I realize it was all part of the healing process of swelling, dropping, and settling into place. I also was shocked to learn I was wearing a 'D' cup because in my mind for months and months, I thought I would be content with a 'C' cup. But I left the final size up to Dr. Cohen in what would look the best on me with a natural look.

Recovery was fairly easy, but of course a lot of it was the emotional part and getting used to my new look. It was really only at weke 6 when I was discharged that I totally embraced my new boobies and love them

Jen, are yours HP or Moderate Plus? You had yours done just a couple of weeks before I had my surgery. How are you doing in your recovery?

I feel like an idiot - I'm not sure if I got HP or mod plus. I'm the type of person that doesn't ask to many questions. I just brought him pictures and told him what cup size I wanted to be. I looked on my mentor card and it says smooth round high gel - so does that mean they are HP? My recovery went very well. Not as bad as I thought it would be!!! I just had some problems spitting stitches - no big deal!!!! How did your recovery go?

Jen, my recovery has gone really well. My incisions are looking really great already so that has been a relief. I got a benelli lift with my augmentation. High profile implants are so nice. I've had moderate before and switched to high profile this time and I love them so much. Are yours still changing from day to day or do you think you've got your final result now? I swear mine keep changing but I love it because they seem to get better and better! Dr. Cohen is the best!

azagain - I'm so glad you like your outcome! I too first had moderate (plus actually) and then switched to HP. I LOVE the fullness on top! It seemed to me (before I got my redo a few weeks ago - I had to start all over) that as time went by they kept changing like you were talking about, and they looked more natural as time went by. Dr. Cohen did an awesome job on me both times - I cant wait to see the final result this time around!

Bri- You look amazing in your photo and must be so happy! I really like the forward projection that HP allows. I think HP makes a really youthful looking breast and keeps the ribcage looking narrow and thin. I noticed with my moderates that I actually looked like I had gained weight and looked heavier. Now with my HP I don't feel like they have added any weight to me. How long did you have your others before switching? Was going larger your main reason for redo?

I had my redo a little under my 8th month anniversary. Yes, my main reason for my redo was to go larger.. I wanted more upper-pole fullness and a little more side boob. I know HP's are more narrow at the base than moderate plus profiles of the same CC amount, but I went large enough CC wise that my new implants actually have a larger diameter than my moderate plus implants.

Thank you for sharing Cainaz! I just came over to these forums thanks to a member on another website and trust that I didn't end up finding your posts by accident. I remember reading the article on Dr Cohen's website that you are mentioned in and was in tears! It felt like that woman was me - but what a blessing it is to find the woman that it really was! Thank you for being so brave and sharing. I wanted to PM you, but I am too new apparently. So, here is a public thank you. I have my ba with Dr Cohen on tues.
