I came across Dr. Ciaravino's website before I found JBI, and I love his work. My only concern is, he seems to be a "Hollywood" type of PS. That is the only way I can describe what I'm talking about. I have not been on a consult yet, so I am not speaking from experience. I am only judging from his website. I like his pictures, and what he says about his recovery experience. If you have been to Ciarvino for a consult or to have your BA, can you please let me know about your experience and if you would go back to him, or reccommend him, etc.

I'm not using him but one of my really good friends is using him this month. She just LOVES him, and trusts him completely to choose what is best for her.

Another friend I work with had her BA done by him in December , and they look great!

On the other hand a guy friend of mine paid for boobs for his ex wife from this doctor and he said the results were completely unsatisfactory.

It really depends on how YOU feel about the doctor.

P.S.- If looking in the Houston area, I'm using Dr. German Newall (galleria area)

I used Dr. Ciaravino for my BA about a year and a half ago and had a very good experience with him. I'm out of town so my experience is a little different than woman living in Houston, but it was still great. His staff is very friendly and helpful, they responded quickly and helped me with all my questions. Dr. Ciarvino himself is very professional (may be too professional for some, some people like a more personal touch). He made me feel like he knew exactly what he was doing and gave me advice I very much trusted. The operation went very smoothly and the recovery was great. I am happy with my results and if I was to have any followup surgeries, I would definitely go back to him.

I went with Dr Eric Humble in Sugarland. Simply because when I met with him he was very honest and open. Felt very comfortable with him.

I have had two friends that had had their BAs done by him before and their results look great! His staff as well as himself are really kind and accommodating. They all just make me feel really comfortable going to them.

I had my BA in December with Dr. C and have had a wonderful experience. My first consult was in October and I was very nervous and apprehensive about the entire process. The staff at the office were very nice and shared their personal experiences with me which helped a great deal. Dr. C made me feel comfortable and confident in deciding to have a BA. Surgery & recovery was a complete breeze too! I had it on a Friday afternoon and was up and with it the next day. I never took any pain pills - just the muscle relaxers. At almost 4 mos PO, my scars are very well hidden and thin and light. I never had a bruise or any post op complications. I've called/emailed the office numerous times with questions and have always received a prompt response with great information. I am very pleased with my results - exactly what I asked for! I am secretly considering going larger, but we'll see...

I understand your comment about a hollywood doctor - but I'm definitely not that type. I'm 36, mom of 5 year old twins and not a fitness competitor or model! He does have patients that are playboy models and such, but there are plenty of us that are just regular girls wanting to look and feel good about our bodies. I really can't say enough good things about my experience!

What is a "hollywood" doc? In the end, you're paying for results. Dr. Ciaravino gets awesome results, so I wouldn't care whether or not he was perceived as "hollywood".

Well, honestly, his was one of the first websites I came across as I started looking for a PS, and I guess my "hollywood" impression was in part because of his high profile patients, models etc. I had very little information about the BA process, had not discovered JBI yet, and I guess I wondered if all of his patients were models and not just regualar "mom' types. Honestly, his work is some of the best I've seen. And, I do have a consult with him in May!! I just wanted some reassurance that I wouldn't look out of place in his office.
