Ok so I actually did this. I LOVE my Dr., but after some careful research I came across a Malpractice suit about 11 years ago. I read the entire thing online. Of course he was found not guilty. It was actually a face lift, something he is currently known for being cutting edge in. The patient had some nerve damage. This is something that is the "could happen" but probably not. I figured that a lot of Dr's that have been practicing along time are possibly more likely to have something like this. In the end I went with my gut and actually went with this Dr. I am SO SO SO glad I did. I know several people who went to him and I just loved his work. I love my results, they seriously exceed any expectations I had. I would really think about it if I were you, but I think it's great to do the research. I was in the same situation. I think you have to go with your gut on this one. I'm so glad I did!

Heck no! I have friends that have gotten botched boob jobs from board certified. One particular was SO bad, that she had to do a full reconstruction to get them fix and them new implants. Malpractice suits are very very hard to win most of the time. I have seen this first hand, where its like WHY did the patient not win. So you really dont know if he / she was indeed filed against wrongly, or he just happened to get lucky and win the case. I wouldnt chance it!
