Dr. Spies

I had my first consultation today and it was not what I expected at all!! I go in there and this woman was really short with me takes all my information down and tells me that I need to wait a little and that I could see the doctor soon. Well, since I saw the doctor's picture on his website prior to meeting him, I knew what he would look like. So, he comes out and looks up and just goes, "hi." How unprofessional!?!?! Or am I looking to deep into it? Anyway...so I get back there and he literally would not let me ask a question...he kept talking and talking and went through everything, but at a fast pace and very uninterested. He squeezed my boobs said the right was bigger than the left and said I should go with saline. SERIOUSLY...it was that quick...didn't ask questions, just told me how it was going to be. I stopped him and said....."um, so how many cc's are you thinking?" He's like, "Well, we are very conservative here, I never go above 375-390." I was like...."um, yeah...well, I'm thinking about 450-500, so I don't think that's going to work." Then he says, "Oh that's ok...we can work something out...I can sneak it!" I was like...WHAT THE #@$%!! I didn't know what to say...so I didn't say anything!! Ahhh...so, long story short...my second consultation is tomorrow and am hoping things go at least a little better!! Well, thanks for letting me tell you girls what happened! Anyone have a similar story to make me feel better?!?! Hahaha...

wow, i cant believe he actually said "i can sneak it", LOL! thats seems like an insane thing to tell a patient, lol. anyway, sorry to hear it didnt go well with that one, hope you have better luck tomorrow. gooduck! xoxoxoxo

Either he is normally strange or was trying to be to lighten the mood.

Overall though, how odd. I hope your next consultation goes better.

The cc's part is VERY weird. Did he even ask you what you wanted as an end result???? How could he recommend an amount if he didn't know what you wanted? Oh well, I hope your next consultation goes well!

I had Dr Spies on my list of doctors to see but I never saw him. I guess I am glad I didn't since his consult fee is 100.00. A friend of a friend actually recommended him to me. Dr. Spies did her breast augmentation and she is bigger than me and I got 500cc's! I don't know how many cc's she has.

I hope you have better luck at your next appt.

Wow, what a strange consult! Glad to hear you've got another one lined up and you're not settling for someone that will "sneak" extra cc's without even asking what kind of look you're going for! Even his name is weird. Dr. Spies....makes me think of a villain in Austin Powers or something....lol. Hope your next one goes better!

That surprises me about Dr Spies,, Ive met a couple of women who've been to him and they were very pleased. He comes highly recommended it seems. He's supposed to be one of the valley's Top Docs as far as Plastic Surgeon's is concerned. Wow, I guess if your consult didnt go well and you get bad vibes, then the smart thing to do is move on.
